Yes, there are many that drink, but I assure you that it wouldn't happen at an Islamic gathering; particularly one that celebrates the most important occasion! Besides, the ones that are not fully practising try to take part in religious events by adopting the "spirit" of the event and would respect the cultural norms. So unless they are an alcoholic I'm sure they would put down their drink for a few hours....
