I have just bought an Eve mattress, had it about 2 week. Currently I have lots of neck upper back pain and was due a new mattress. I read all of the Which reviews and this came out best to me. I like it, it takes some getting used to. It feels like I am sleeping on something very firm and dense but I feel supported. Saying that I have been waking up with a sore lower back which gets better once I start walking round but I have a feeling this is due to the fact I sleep on my front as I can feel it?s not good as I can feel the strain on my lower back as I lie there. I think I am sleeping better in it and the great thing is that if you share a bed it absorbs all of the movement that the other person makes so you really can?t feel them turning over or moving around..

This morning the traffic is being diverted down Ferris Road from Tyrrell which adds an additional 2 tight corners in residential streets to the diversion

The car park currently serves a block of 9 flats and would mean that there are 16 flats in a small area with no parking. The current block of flats is currently empty as being refurbished. Parking in this area is currently difficult due to the trading estate round the corner parking all of their vans, camper vans and cars to be repaired on. The consultation closes soon and so far there is only one comment regarding parking

I have no problem with children riding on the pavement but do think they should be taught some manners by their parents. This morning whilst walking my children to school a child rode up behind us and just rung his bell at us to come past, no sign of a parent anywhere and then we watched him ride up to the next lot of people on the pavement and do the same. I have a 6 year old and she rides on the pavements as she is not safe for the rode but knows if she comes up behind someone she either waits or speaks to ask if she can come past.

I did my son's renewal a couple of weeks ago, took it to check and send at the post office on the monday and it arrived on the friday of the same week- must be quite quiet at the mo

No. There is not any equivalent in the area. It is covered by the community midwives from St Thomas' who just provide antenatal care in clinics and post natal care in the home.

Are you booking with St Thomas'? Have you had a previous c/section as the midwives of STH run VBAC clinics out of Coin Street

I live on Ferris Road. The signs first went up about a week or so before the works and gave dates of 19-23rd. Nothing happened on Monday but there was a skip in the road- don't know if this made any difference to the date but it seemed to disappear for the Wed resurfacing and is now back. They did put notes on the cars and through the door on Sun/ Mon. What I don't understand is why Ferris Road? It wasn't that bad and is the quietest road that hardly gets any traffic. There are loads of other roads that would benefit from a resurface rather than ours. I used to live in Blackheath on the road behind the start of the elite marathon runners- that was a nightmare trying to find your car when they moved it.. Usually half way to Charlton with no one to actually give you a clue...

I was very stressed about this in the run up to the birth of my second. Had lots of friends willing, bought an inflatable bed to go with him and packed him a little bag. Didn't really like the idea of dropping him off somewhere in the middle of the night. Had believe that it would all work out in the end and it did. My sister decided to drive 120 miles one day on a whim with her 7 month old what i was 38+6 weeks. She rang me in the morning to check I wasn't it labour- no signs of anything happening. Am hour into her journey my waters broke!!Problem solved, she took him home with her later that day and bought him back 2 days later...

in terms of times of day i read an article that said it is best to book flights in the afternoon as most business travel is booked in the morning and holiday flights usually get booked in the evening so the afternoon has the cheapest fluctuation in flights, no idea if there is any truth in it.. i booked easy jet flight to majorca for july just gone on the day they were released last october and kept checking them again through the next few months just to see and they were never any cheaper

My daughter is starting also and I am taking leave that week to be around for her. However, I do work for the NHS and have a very generous annual leave allowance and already have a son in the school so knew what the procedure was going to be so had done some advance annual leave planning. Personally I wouldn't want my daughter just going straight in for full days in a class of 60 where no one knows her name on that first day or anything about her. At least with a few half days the staff will have less children in each session and a bit of a chance to work out who is who. I know from other friends who have children that have started at different schools this is actually quite a short period of half days at just a week. A friend in SW London had a whole term of half days!!!!!
