My mum has lived in Sydenham for over 30years, Silverdale rd. not had any trouble, but I agree with OTTA, the further down Sydenham road you go it does seem to get rather bleak, however saying that there is a lot of money being spent to improve the area, new shops are opening next to Sava centre, there will be B&Q (opened) toys r us, next at home, etc, new flats have been built. don't rule it out, you will save money as rents are cheaper in this area. you do get more for your money in Penge, people are very friendly its changing a lot (for the better), you have the wonderful Alexandra cottages which i think are protected, lennard Road have some wonderful houses tree lined, close to train stations which go into london in 12 mins, ideal if you wrk in london, i would defo look in the area 1st, you could have a pleasent surprise. good luck

yes all checks were done, she never had no collar, and she looked so thin. she was very stressed out, and crying and shaking, she just stayed on my lap the whole time i was driving to the vets then to the depot. im sure she will find a good home if she is not reunited with her family. i will take a look on that dog lost, is it a website then???

I Found a lost puppy today on Sydenham Hill, i looked around to see if anyone was looking for a puppy, but didnt see anyone, so i took the puppy to Mayow Road vets in Sydenham, who checked over it. It is on the thin side and was very dirty, it did look to me as though she has been out for a while, she was crying and shaking. The puppy is a girl, not sure of breed possibly a staff X, brown and white, around 8 months old. She has now gone to lewisham councils depot called Wearside, where she will be kept for 2 days, then she will go to Battersea dogs home. I hope the puppy is reunited if not i hope she goes to a nice new family.

yes they do and they stay together as a family, hunt, sleep , live as a group, young rats are the easiest to catch as they are most nosey and more likely to go near traps/posion. a mum rat has up to 6 baby each time..

Hi On Thursday 8th April 2 young girls were delivering leaflets for me around the Brockwell park area, they poped into the communal toilets brought the trolley inside and someone stole the trolley... The trolley was the 4 wheel type like the elderly use, and it had over 5,000 leaflets inside and the young girls coats... this incident was reported to the police and the young girls are ok... I would be very grateful if anyone has seen a large amount of leaflets and the trolley could they let me know please.. many thanks for your co-operation. what disgust me about this is that the theif or thieves thought is was an old ladys trolley that had food in it.. what is becomming of our country!!!!

we at k&o pest control have been doing lots of jobs lately in dulwich for rats,in one job alone we killed 8 of them in the space of 2 weeks and this job is still on going,another job we killed 2 of them which came into a ladys kitchen though the waste pipe near her sink, i would like to offer advice to all people who read this, have a look around your outside of your house look at all vents see if there are any missing or broken look at waste pipes and any pipe work coming into your place see if there are any gaps round them boller flums look to see if they are tight to the wall on the out side down pipes should have covers on them at the bottom where that meet the drain also caped at the top of the gutter to go in the loft and turn light off to see if any light is getting in block it rats and squirels can get in the best stuff to use when filling holes/wire wool(a must)expand fome,quick dry cement,3mill wire grill,hard wood, please understand to stop rats getting in do as we say and all is well if you do need our help please call colin sims k&o pest control
