Lost our plusnet Internet about 20 minutes ago. Update: Came back on at 10pm.

Exactly right. I didn't post the link due to it being amusing but because as a pet owner and therefore having an interest in the case, I thought it was an interesting twist. Though I do take the article and the alleged psychic's claims with a large dose of industrial strength salt, we'll be laughing on the other side of our faces if it were to lead to an arrest.

I personally couldn't get past someone equating that a roadside camera being installed to spy on drivers ignoring a 'no entry' sign to that of having one installed in your living room.

Jimmy Nesbitt shouldn't be considered a sighting unless he is armed with an axe and b*ll*ck naked chasing someone along Lordship Lane.

Don't think I have ever liked it in there. Even before its Wetherspoon incarnation it had had an unfriendly vibe about the place.

Think the current are finally leaving the end of this month. Deal seems to have finally gone through.

Anyone going to see a film when it opens tomorrow? None of the films this week float my boat, to be honest. But will probably go and see 'Child 44' when it features.

Does anyone remember Peckham Manor School?
Millhaven replied to atila the gooner's topic in The Lounge
I went to said school from 72-77. Never heard of you. 😉 -
Ha! Saw the poster in the pub over the weekend. We should all go.

You are obviously passionate about vegetarianism (to a degree) but you can't expect everyone to share that. Some have a lower will power over quite a fundamental life choice.

Nah...I probably should have said earlier that I have also considered giving up on meat because of the way some of it is produced but I know I wouldn't get past the 2 month mark. And I would say that was being optimistic. I am very particular about sourcing and production but admittedly I could do even more.

aquarius moon Wrote: --------------------------------------------------- > > What a ridiculous thing to say. Pretend veggie > products ARE NOT made from meat! Er...yes. That's why I said pretend. I can understand veggie burgers/sausages but Quorn bacon? Bacon comes from pigs. So it isn't bacon as there is no pig in it. This also begs the question as to why your conscience isn't pricked by a non meat product being is labeled as one.
