I was interested to see this seat in the remain alliance targets, does anyone have a view as to why the Greens are targeting this one in particular? seat. -

What does that mean Townleygreen? I get they would have right of appeal. But what special powers would the minister bring? -

51 comments! Is that a lot for a planning application? -
Alleyns Junior School - planning
Melihoople replied to Bicknell's topic in General ED Issues / Gossip
Thank you for posting & highlighting this application. It does seem that footprint of the school far exceeds the land it actually occupies. The foundation schools do not seem to have addressed in any way the impact their businesses have on the local population and environment. -

Wouldn't the old Audi garage site in Dulwich village be good for a waitrose.

Bloomfield has always been good. -
For me it's not about if it allowed or not. It was just not community spirited! I expect better local engagement from such a large institution as Alleyns operating in such a densely populated area. It would not have cost that much or been very difficult to get the word out locally - so that those with pets or children would be prepared and those who wanted to enjoy the view would like wise have been ready.

Have you tried to speak to the Dulwich Estate, they will know.

No it's the children's center in West dulwich. No consultation. It's owned by the Rosendale Academy. It's the most wonderful purpose built environment for kids & without any consultation it's shutting. :(

Dulwich Village Junction - Tailbacks up Woodwarde Rd?
Melihoople replied to slarti b's topic in General ED Issues / Gossip
It's not just rush hour. This junction was completely snarled up today, a Saturday with traffic backed up right over the round about at gallery/Burbage roads. I've noticed the traffic crossing from Turney to Carlton/Court Lane getting stuck blocking the junction as there are simply so many cars coming from Carlton avenue currently. If one car is trying to turn into Court Lane everyone gets stuck. It's been blocking the junction all this week. -
This explains the police presence in park after school. I was wondering about the Bobby on beat ambling around.
-
You could call the schools to get furthest distance offered at the September start. But I think that area of Sydenham is a bit of a black hole for primaries.
-
There is a new place in herne Hill station - minus twelve degrees. Definitely some interesting flavours. But can they beat pistachio of O, or Hazelnut of FI... I'd have to go sample again. They're not open as late as Oddono's which is a pain.

Now that does not seem clever. Cleeves perhaps it's just their true colours.. I'm locking this thread as there's another one running over here http://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/forum/read.php?30,1907852 - Admin -
Labs can be totally bonkers for the first few years though. Presumably your husband's quite aware. But they can require a lot of input.

There is changed priority but no signs. It feels dangerous as from Court Lane it's now a blind corner to cars speeding down Carlton Avenue to make the lights. :( Drivers beware.
