Man tried to get into my flat this evening - Pytchley Road
DVMummy replied to DVMummy's topic in General ED Issues / Gossip
He wasn't wondering I don't think. He ran off as soon as he saw movement and my door is at the end of a drive so out of the way. I called the police but there was nothing they could do obviously. -
This afternoon at about 6.10, a man tried to open my front (locked door). When my daughter made a sound he promptly left. He was an older white gentleman with grey hair in 'shabby' clothing. He made his way towards the direction of Sainsbury's. All very upsetting, you may have noticed thatI I posted that my daughter's bike was stolen from the flat about 2 months ago; after my daughter is coming out of her wheelchair. She is now petrified that something bad will happen. Thanks everyone x

Hi everyone, My daughter's bike was stolen from our driveway on Wednesday afternoon/ evening between 4pm and 7pm. They cut through a very strong chain used to secure it and made off; despite the drive being overlooked by numerous flats and flood lit. The attached is a picture of the same design/ brand of bike. If you get offered one for sale or see it around, PLEASE contact me on here. Those of you who know me will know that my daughter has been in and out of hospital for a year due to a spinal injury and a half and is just starting to become free of her wheelchair. She has been desperate to one day cycle again, and this has devastated her. I am a single mum and can't afford another, so would mean so much if people could keep an eye out. Thanks all, Emma :-)

Thank you for the advice Bic. Does anyone else have any comments regarding the area? -
Hey all, I'm thinking of moving to the estate in the next few weeks. Obviously the above is terrible, but is this kind of thing common? Is it a safe area to bring up a 12 year old?

Thanks, I can live with some annoying music - provided the area is safe!
