  1. Someone on Woodware Road is playing "I still haven't found what I'm looking for" by U2 with their windows OPEN!! What kind of monsters inhabit East Dulwich these days?!?
  2. I agree. Put a note with a contact number on the collar for the feeder to read. We had EXACTLY the same problem with one of my two cats before we moved here, and this was how we contacted the feeder. It's incredibly frustrating, so I feel your pain.
  3. Oh, please.....silence!??? Let it be so! Their mum must have come home!!
  4. Hi Sue I'm just having a tongue in cheek moan.
  5. I'm reducing my rating to 2/10. The singing goes out of tune a lot and their endings are sloppy. Guys, if you are reading this, endings are IMPORTANT. Tighten them up....somewhere else.....soundproofed. Thank you and goodnight.
  6. They must have read this. They have now been going over the same bit for of one song for 15 minutes. Goodbye productivity of working from home......FML.
  7. Could the band making an absolute racket around Beauval/Woodware Road please for the love of God wrap up!!!! There are soundproofed rehearsal spaces that are far more appropriate places to rehearse than a residential street. As a final critique, I'd give you 3/10.
  8. We are paying for "Superfast Fibre Broadband"....our connection has been consistently average, but tonight we reached a new low of 0.07mbps!!! It took me 5 minutes to get the speedtest page to even load!! What a joke of a service.
  9. Hi all We have a large black and white male regularly coming through our garden with an open injury to it's leg and neck - fox maybe? It's quite dirty/scruffy, and I'm guessing it's a stray. It's also quite nervous when approached so I can't get a good look at it's wounds. It's around the 306 Medical Centre end of LL. Does anyone know if a cat matching the desc. have an owner in the area? If not, does Celia Hammond trap cats for assessment/treatment? I'll try to get a photo of it next time it visits. Thanks Bryan
  10. So bloody pointless! ?35 I didn't need to spend. Luckily it's fairly easy to fit.
  11. I've just seen someone has kicked or pulled off the wing mirror on my car. The casing is totally cracked, so it must have been a good thump!! It was on the pavement side, so not a passing car impact. We are just down from 106 Medical Centre. Anyone else have their car damaged between 7pm last night and 1pm today?
  12. Thanks also to the young guy who was frantically knocking on doors trying to find it's owner. Good hearted guy.
  13. A big ginger tom cat was hit by a car this evening at 7.15pm, outside our house on Lordship Lane (just down from 306 Medical centre). We rushed him urgently to Lordship Lane Vets, but sadly he passed away. He was a very big, furry, uncastrated male. He wasn't microchipped. Ginger and white - ginger face with a white stripe around his neck. If this is your cat, or if you know the owner, you can call me: Bryan 07720 712553 I took a photo of his face if you need to identify him. He passed away very, very quickly. We had him wrapped in a blanket, spoke to him and stroked his head all the way to the vet. He has been left in the care of Lordship Lane Vets and will be cremated tomorrow. If this is your cat, and you want to call the vets to find out arrangements, their number is: 020 8693 4677 I'm so sorry if this is your cat.
  14. My workmates up in Scotland are cyber-stalking my ED activity, so I'd like to make them feel a little more included. If you are reading this, could you please say Hi to Clive and James! Thanks.
  15. My main issue is the insane speeds drivers reach on Lordship Lane between the Library and the Mag pub. Closer to the centre of the town, the speedbumps slow these drivers down, but every night we have nutters exceeding motorway speeds on residential street. It's extremely dangerous and extremely noisy. Can anything be done to force a more sensible speed?
