Please tell Dulwich College that their decision to allow a real fur trader to appear again in the Dulwich College Xmas Fair is horrific and supports a barbaric industry. Phillipa London sell horrific fur coats, gillets, hats which they greenwash as coming from "natural beginings" - which in reality means a hopeless life is squalid cramped cages and death by anal electrocution, drowning or gassing. They are stall GH10 in the Great Hall. Please beware if taking children past this stand. The fur industry is universally condemed, but support from Dulwich College allows these heartless profit hungry traders to keep fur farms in business. Please boycott the fair until they agree to go FUR FREE. A year ago, Blue was easily overstimulated with people and was possesive of his space, but the team at CHAT have worked wonders with him. Following Government Guidance our Homing Centres are closed to visitors but we are able to rescue and rehome cats whilst following regulations. The coronavirus pandemic does mean that we have had to alter our usual homing procedures. Pre-coronavirus we would meet potential adopters in their homes (home visit) this was an informal visit to provide advice about caring for cats or kittens e.g health care, feeding, settling in and also an opportunity for us to feel reassured that you could provide a good home. We have replaced a physical home visit with a video call via What'sApp or similar to provide the same advice and so that you can also show us the cat relevant areas of your home e.g garden, location of a cat flap etc. Following a successful home visit we now match cats and homes, you cannot visit cats or kittens in the rescue centre or our foster homes, instead we can provide photos and short video's of the cats and discuss them in more depth. If you wish to go ahead we deliver the cats / kittens to your home as a door step handover. Adoption paperwork is completed as far as possible in advance over the phone. You then adopt the cats or kittens on a trial adoption basis. Despite this being a new and unusual way to adopt cats we have so far found that adoptions are successful.

Look, the "brand" of trap is irrelevant. The fact is, the guy has been punting these kinds of brutal "industrial" traps across residential areas for quite some time, and I'm sure this isn't the first pet that's been injured, or killed. And they are pointless. They also rely on inexperienced members of the public setting and locating them properly, which clearly hasn't worked in this instance. So no, the trap in question likely isn't his. But does he punt the same barbaric devices? Yes. Last post from me as I'm not gonna keep bumping this up. Sure you won't be able to help yourself tho....
