I agree that people do not pay attention to their dogs and miss the poo. I do point it out when i see it. All dog poo is horrid and all dog owners/walkers need to take responsibility for picking up poo. My suggestion is, if appropriate and one doesn't feel in danger/intimidated, point poo out if the owner/walker hasn't spotted it. I think if everyone is active in doing this it will change mindsets. Carry multiple poo bags as your dog might have more than one poo a walk! I would hate to be banned from GG with my dog as i am sure my family would agree. Who knew i could use poo so much in a paragraph. happy walking all.

This happened to me this morning. It was for us but it is so annoying. Why don't they ring the bell?

the reg is LD59 YGA is anyone sees it. It happened so quickly - just angry as insurance will be even more expensive and not sure it is worth the grief.

of course been reported, tracking devise in house on charge...

Just had my Honda moped stolen from Oakhurst Grove. Locks cut off. Took less than 30 seconds. lock those bikes up as well as you can. And if anyone sees a black Honda SH300 abandoned anywhere please drop me a line.

We can't get our bike in our front garden (without removing the wall). ground anchors in the road would be brilliant. be vigilant people.

Oh no here we go again. we had a motorbike stolen on Landcroft road around 7 months ago. A second attempt was made 2 months later. Lock them up follow bikers and keep your eyes peeled. I wish that the council could put bike anchors on the road - front gardens not ideal when you have a tourer type bike.

So sorry to hear this. Really close to my road. It is an annoying and costly thing to happen.

We have bought locks with alarms which hopefully will wake us up if an attempted theft occurs in the evening - accompanied by 2 massive bike locks - I resent having to do all of this as we have all worked to pay for (and insure) these bikes. I am so sorry for anyone that has had their bike stolen it is so upsetting and then ones insurance gets so high it seems impossible to justify owning a motorbike in London. Hopefully the raid as above will help a bit. Sad times

We have just scared off 4 youths on mopeds lifting covers off motorbikes and scooters on our road. Pellat road end of Lordship lane. So frustrating. Just blatant.

Hi all Just a word of warning that we had our motorbike (an 03 BMW) stolen last night just off Pellat road. So upset. Anyway keep you bikes safe as you can. Reported to the police.

I also wanted to recommend Fernando, he worked on my garden on Friday (for 6 hours). He is hard working, great at making the garden look great and also is knowledgeable about plants. He has prepared the garden for spring and made it look fantastic. Lucie

Southwark Council proposals for LL/NthX Rd junction
LKR replied to maxxi's topic in General ED Issues / Gossip
I would like more bike parking but also most of the roads that have a junction onto Lordship Lane need looking at because you can park so near to a T-junction it is impossible to see to pull out. One has to be halfway across the road to see round parked cars, especially on busy, 'fast' parts of Lordship Lane up by Heber and Pellat road. Agree NorthCross road doesn't look messy.
