  1. Just a warning that I had my purse stolen out of my handbag this afternoon in the Punk Me Up Ceramics Cafe - we were sitting near the door and I think someone came in and took it while I was distracted with my daughter. It was a large snakeskin design wallet with a smaller pouch inside for coins - please PM me if you find it discarded somewhere. I have reported it missing to the police. Many thanks.
  2. Hi, I wouldn't worry my daughter turned two at the end of May and we went through this around the same age. It lasted for a few weeks (sleeping at nursery but not at home) then she suddenly decided that she wanted her afternoon naps again! I find it helps if when she goes to sleep I explain what we're going to be doing in the afternoon and if she knows there is something fun happening when she wakes up then she'll go down without a fuss. Every now and then she might skip a nap if we're out for the day or if she's woken up late but (fingers crossed!) it looks like it was just another toddler phase! Looking back it was around the time when she was going through a developmental leap so maybe it was all related. Good luck!
  3. Hi, would it be possible to have a few more details about the role? I will send you a private message as well! Thanks, Rachel

  8. Hi, Coffee next Tuesday will be good for me. I can do anytime from 11 until 2pm. Look forward to seeing bumps & babies then! Can anyone suggest any good baby groups to sign up for in east dulwich/forest hill? My little girl is 5 weeks old now and I'm keen to know what's available locally. Rachel x
  9. Exciting! Lots of luck Kapaxiana, sending you lots of positive labour thoughts! Xx
  10. Thankyou! And congrats to you too Audrey, it's a beautiful name which you've chosen & glad to hear she is settling in well. Look forward to seeing everyone's bumps and babies soon :) xx
  11. Ahhh I did think Audrey would most likely have had her bambino too! Can't be long for you though QueenMab? My labour all kicked off after a curry from the Omirith on Forest Hill road if that's any help! X
  12. Hi everyone! I met a few of you at the very first get together at the beginning of April, but unfortunately haven't been able to make the last two get togthers. Hope all your bumps are ok, has anyone else had their baby yet? I'm pleased to say that my baby girl, Anya, was born on the 29th of May (is that the same day as your baby Claudine? I have been following all the threads but never seem to have the time to comment!). I had her at Lewisham hospital and despite my best intentions didn't quite make it to the birthing centre as planned, but the staff on the labour ward were amazing and for anyone who is going to Lewisham you'll be in very good hands! I ended up with a c-section so still not quite out and about on my own yet to meet you all tomorrow, but if you have a get together in another few weeks myself and Anya would love to join you!! Can't believe she is 4 weeks old now, so far so good, even the sleepless nights haven't been that bad! Rachel xx
  13. Hi East Dulwich Mums, I'm so sorry that I haven't been able to join you all today. I was really looking forward to it, but after a hectic day yesterday and a sleepless night I'm not feeling too good. I hope you all enjoyed the sunshine (it looks like it's finally coming out now!) and I will keep my eyes peeled for any future get together's (maybe with our babies!) as it was really nice to meet you and your bumps last time. Rachel X
  14. Hi Mums and bumps, Great news about the 8th as I can do that date! Such a shame but my partner is working that day, but I'm sure I can drag him along if the men folk are invited next time! Is everyone else now feeling like they've been pregnant forever and a day? All the aches and pains are starting to kick in and I'm having to get my boyfriend to paint my toenails, he's getting quite good now! I've got five weeks to go and am really, really hoping that my little bundle doesn't decide to be late. Does anyone know when you're allowed to start taking raspberry leaf tea or is just an old wives tale that it encourages labour?! Anya your pilates gathering sounds like a great idea - and actually the name Anya is at the top of my list of potential girls names! See you all on the 8th xx
  15. Hi everyone, Sorry I haven't posted before, but it was really nice to meet everyone and their bumps a few weeks ago. How is everyone feeling now? I've hit the 33 week mark and it's all starting to feel a bit more uncomfortable now. Counting down the days until my maternity leave starts though!! I would love to do a picnic but my sister is throwing me a baby shower on the 7th (not sure if I should be slightly apprehensive about this!) but yes I could do the 8th. Peckham Rye park is perfect for me as I can walk there from my flat. There's a nice new cafe opened over the road if the weather isn't so sunny as well? If not keep me updated with any potential dates you're all meeting up as it'll be lovely to know other new Mums in the area. I'll be off work from the beginning of May so will be a lot more flexible with times and dates then! Rachel X
