Good posts - I love Dulwich. Look at this description of our area by a letting agent Portmoor ? http://www.portmoor.co.uk/rent-dulwich.html . I think it sums us up ? we are ?the most charming corner of London.? Would definitely recommend it. Denmark hill is a bit of a mini Dulwich in my oppinion. There are really good pubs (but not as many). There is quite a lot of wealth (in roads behind the station). The big difference is that the transport is better in Denmark Hill but is is slightly more dangerous being just south of Camberwell (but very much the best end as near Camberwell Green which is not too bad). I would definitely say don't worry too much on the crime stats (prob worse as they lump the whole of SE5 together and Denmark Hill much safer than the north of SE5)
