  1. Hi All! We have lost a set of keys in (or around) Dulwich Park today. It is a house key and bike key with a brown heart-shaped key chain. Please keep an eye out and let me know if you find it! Thank you!
  2. From an American who lived eight years on the east coast (Washington, DC): GO TO MAINE!! You won't regret it. Get a little cottage on the water and spend your days eating lobster rolls and wandering darling seaside towns. Check out Camden for a not too touristy (but oh so lovely!) town.
  3. I want to get my daughter (age 5) involved with scouting, but the East Dulwich Rainbows is on a Friday night (not ideal). There are troupes in Forest Hill and other nearby areas, but I'm wondering how many other families might be interested in a troupe based in Dulwich Village? It could be after school during the week. Also, could I convince anyone to consider co-leading said new group with me? :D
  4. I write a meal planning/recipe blog: www.hungermama.com. I am hoping to find some local mums who might like to share one of their recipes in their own kitchen with me. If interested, please send photos of your kitchen, and any food photos you have to me at [email protected]. I am mostly looking for fellow bloggers and Instagramers, but I'm mostly concerned about sharing yummy, easy, wholesome recipes, so that trumps all else! Please be in touch if interested!
  5. I've never been to the market. Do you happen to know what the hours are on Saturday? I couldn't find it online. Thanks!
  6. I have friends coming down from Highgate with their four kids this Saturday to check out Dulwich Village. They are looking to potentially buy in the area. I was going to take them on a little walking tour and spend some time in the park, but now it looks like it's going to be raining! Does anyone have an idea of what to do with four adults and six kids (combined with mine) ranging from eight months to nine years in age? Our flat is too small to host. Something that would ideally give them an idea of how charming the area is? I really want them to move here! Thanks! x
  7. Four is very young for voice lessons and she may be better off starting with an instrument such as piano to develop her hear. However, if you'd really prefer voice lessons, I give voice lessons from my home in Herne Hill and have experience working with young children. www.elizabethhungerford.com The first lesson is free to see if it is a good fit, so we could always give it a try to see how she takes to it! x
