  1. Girls, thanks:) I really hope things will go OK, trying to be positive but it's very hard! My pain threshold down there seems to be very low cos I do have very painful periods with fainting and other attractions as well. I just hope the midwives will be as helpful as those ones in MAU unit and I'll mange to avoid all the bad ones... Heidi, I would definitely complain and I'll keep my fingers crossed that you get at least apologies, unfortunately they will not be able to change your experience. I just hope that keeping that little bundle of joy in your arms makes the whole thing worth it! I was waiting for your birth experience actually, hoping it would be positive. I will not let my partner read your post with the birth description, think he would not let me go to hospital tomorrow at all! Going to make a birth plan after all (was told it won't be necessary with induction) and there is only hope pain will not stop me from being able to communicate in English with midwives and my partner;)
  2. Heidi, congratulation on having the little one on other side of the belly! He is so beautiful. Hope you will recover very soon. However your experience has scared me to death and left me in tears as I'm going to Kings tomorrow to have induced birth.
  3. Oh, HeidiHi, so it looks you will be induced first. I was told that i have to be as well due to cholestasis and after listening how that process gonna look like I'm scared to death! It's gonna take up to three days: pessary, braking the waters, drip. No water birth, in case of drip i'l be attached to ctg and epidural most likely so no chance to move around and not many possition to choose from. Was told it would be good if the baby decided to get out by itself but at 38 weeks it might not be very likely. I just hope I will not collapse like those twin towers in NY (that's my date, 11.09;))
