I totally agree with everything above! I particularly enjoy it when some Clearasil-deprived oik decides to broadcast muffled, nondescript mysogynistic rap music from the speaker of his/her Nokia. This is only to be attempted when sitting at the very back of the bus on the top deck for maximum coolness. Oh and if you can, take a call and put it on speakerphone for everyone to hear. Edited so as not to be sexist...

A work colleague brought to my attention this morning that old style incandescent light bulbs are to be phased out. Soon, you'll only be able to buy those puny energy saving things or expensive LED alternatives. I've heard people are stockpiling the old style bulbs in readiness for the ban, and would be interested to see what punishment befalls the first casualty of the 'Bulb Police'... I dont think anyone could top Paul Shane's cover of 'You've Lost That Loving Feeling' live on Pebble Mill about 10 years ago. Its floating about on YouTube somewhere, and was rinsed spectacularly by Vic and Bob throughout a whole series of Shooting Stars. I cant watch it without literally howling with laughter.

I do that trip about once a month up to the parents. I usually go up to Docklands, A13, M25, M11 and you're there. Traffic is usually fine.
