  1. I use the 12 every day and you can always be sure of some random antics on it. Only last weekend some nutcase decided to get on then get off at the next stop and stand in front of the bus and chant rubbish at the driver. Then he got back on and started muttering racist stuff and being quite abusive to a woman, who from what I could tell was just minding her own business. Always a pleasure, never a chore.

  3. To Be Young (Is To Be Sad, Is To Be High) - Ryan Adams
  4. I'm particularly enjoying 'Untrue' by Burial at the mo, lots of cultural urban references and all penned by a bloke from Camberwell. Essential night bus listening!
  5. Some Might Say - Oasis
  6. Use Somebody - Kings Of Leon
  7. Dead Leaves And The Dirty Ground - White Stripes
  8. Here Comes Bob - Sparks
  9. Found this quite funny: http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/england/7812254.stm More specifically - 'In 2003 Paul and Lisa Allott moved from their bungalow in Conisbrough, South Yorkshire, after becoming fed up of living in Butt Hole Road. The family said they had grown tired of groups of youths posing for photographs by a street sign near their front wall with their buttocks bared.' And - 'The name Scratchy Bottom, in Dorset, is thought to refer to a rough hollow'
  10. Absolutely, though I'll be the first to admit 'tech-talk' isnt the most stimulating of conversational topics.
  11. Same - the promise of stimulating banter coupled with single women aplenty sounds pretty good to me.
  12. Do You Want To - Franz Ferdinand
  13. What saddens me is the overuse of the word 'nice'
  14. Give It Away - Red Hot Chili Peppers
  15. Happy to report that the tromboning has now stopped before the need arose to...er...intervene.
  16. Fake Plastic Trees - Radiohead
  17. Haha - you sort of walked into that one by asking for a 'nice looking woman'. Isn't beauty in the eye of the beholder? ;-)
  18. Red Hill Mining Town - U2
  19. Oasis are absolute dross. A few good albums (Definitely Maybe, Whats The Story) when they sounded original in the mid nineties, then just carbon copies of exactly the same formula year in, year out with a slight variation on Liam's whining. Same with The Stereophonics/Bloc Party too, a couple of absolute belters then began churning out uninteresting rubbish. But then, I'm a Coldplay fan and some might argue the same point with them!
  20. Blueberry Hill - Elvis
  21. Jungle Boogie - The Fatback Band
  22. Making Plans For Nigel - XTC
  23. Get Ready - The Temptations
  24. New Moon On Monday - Duran Duran
