Would you support a car club space or two on Grove Lane?
jaybee82 replied to H&M's topic in General ED Issues / Gossip
To be fair though Sue, if having one Car Club car prevents the need for several households from having to own a car each and having to park them on an already congested stretch of residential road I think I'd just let them get on with implementing it. -
That looks like a browser message - you may need to change some connection settings in Safari to stop the browser connecting via the old modem by default. Might be worth checking the connection options in the settings of the browser. James

UNICEF ambassador Helped secure the Olympics Apart from that I'm not sure what he's done.

Seconded for Kebab and Wine. I've heard there is an 'even further back' bar where that sort of caper goes on...

I'm getting behind Wagner - lacking vocal talent and more than a bit creepy but who cares...he's entertaining! Plus every week he stays in Cheryl Cole's scowls get more intense!! Get behind Wagner!!!

http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/magazine-11676437 I do love these invaluable life tips. What's next? 'How to tie your own shoelaces' or maybe the more obvious 'How to wipe your own backside'?
-
Cheers PGC, some gems in there! May just do that with the Joker cards too. Need inspiration for a tie break...
-
These are all fantastic additions...though we're now a bit light on the sport questions
-
Yes, we'll definitely have jokers (tu)

Best thing to do is go on a travel agent website and look for a destination with more green and blue runs. I started out in Andorra (Pas De La Casa) which is very beginner-friendly, and generally resorts will have a star rating to this effect. I can also recommend Les Deux Alpes in France for some good low down blues and greens. With so many of you going it is often cheaper to prebook things like lift passes and equipment hire, and you may even get a discount for a larger group. Also look at reviews of the local ski schools of your chosen destination...but above all enjoy!

Thanks for correcting me Buggie - my knowledge of all things Teletubby is patchy at best.

Good media questions! Not a fan of the odd Heat/Closer mag are you Huguenot?

Sorry if this topic has appeared numerous times before, but I've been seconded with the task with organising an office quiz to be held in a few weeks time...problem is I need questions fast (answers would be good, too). I think I've got the picture rounds sorted out but still have Sport, General Knowledge, Food and Drink, Music, TV & Film and 'In The Media' to finish up. Any help gratefully received...especially on the Food & Drink front! Cheers folks! J

Prices for Kaspersky AV on Amazon are pretty reasonable - thats what I use. I wouldn't recommend AVG/Avast/Comodo on a shared machine but if you're the only one using it and you're responsible about the sites you visit it works fine. http://www.amazon.co.uk/Kaspersky-Internet-Security-2011-Subscription/dp/B003KTMF7O/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1286526037&sr=8-1

Depending on whats left of the radio loom you should be able to get a multi adapter from halfords to fit the stereo. Will cost you about a tenner and will be specific to the make of car.

No contest! Guess Who...though it is invariably always Herman.

I'd like to hear more from Ridgley. After all, you were in a band with him.

I'd avoid Netbooks unless getting a top-end one...they're made cheaply and don't last more than about 18 months to a couple of years. I'd second binary_star and stick with a Dell or HP - decent support and reasonable build quality and spec (on the whole)...

Have you ever cheated on your partner (past/present)

Being a good cheater means you have to be a good liar. Unfortunately, I'm neither. -
Thats outrageous JRussel. Everyone knows cooking strong garlic should be practised strictly within the hours of 6:13pm and 8:24pm.

A bit of a controverial comment it would seem! Rephrasing slightly, I think Vaio's are a bit overpriced and I'm basing it on the amount I repair against other makes.
-
My only advice would be to avoid Acer and Sony Vaio's...they tend to both be a bit cheap and nasty these days. Seems Sony are getting by on the reputation of their other products...

I agree, The National's new album 'High Violet' is an absolute cracker...and almost as good as their previous, 'Boxer'.
