  1. A few more atrocities: 'Saturday Night' by Whigfield Anything by Ace Of Base/Paul Young/Mariah Carey 'If I Ruled The World' from those bloody awful Vodafone adverts which make me want to smash my own tellybox 'I Will Always Love You' by Whitney Houston Any version of 'You Raise Me Up' or 'Wind Beneath My Wings'
  2. Glad you brought up that song Sherwick! The video to 'Sexy Eyes' is possibly the most hilarious music video I have ever seen due to the fact that the singer of Dr Hook wears an eye patch throughout. Watching it makes me cry laughing! More like 'Sexy Eye'.
  3. Sounds like you're in the wrong here. You parked on the chevrons so you should have expected a ticket, may have been different if there was no clear sign/markings. It's always irritating getting a ticket but I think you're being a little unreasonable bringing their race into it. And the Prius is actually a very good car.
  4. I think theres a decent one at The Herne on Sundays. Moved from The Mag.
  5. Does that actually happen? Id defo razor if I had a monobrow or a pair of 'Noel Gallagher's'.
  6. Syrups are just plain wrong. Be bald and proud (but dont, for the love of god, comb over)
  7. Rusty Lee was a real woman.
  8. How many men these days can fix a knackered car alternator? Or plumb in a dishwasher?
  9. I mean honestly...waxing, moisturiser...make up?!?! Men are supposed to be like the Sean Connery types of old. Fact.
  10. Ann Widdecombe
  11. I quite liked Hey Venus! and Love Kraft Dr Proctor...
  12. The new Maccabees album 'Wall Of Arms' which I've already played to death.

    Watchmen

Watched this the other night with a few mates. If you want a film to show off your brand new big TV and surround sound, then this is it. Special effects are mindblowing!
  14. Nope, definitely Crystal Waters and definitely dreadful. 'Rockstar' by Nickelback springs to mind as a recent hateful song demonised further by the advertising Exec's at DFS for 'that' TV ad. As far as terrible cover versions go, 'We Will Rock You' by Five (5ive?!) is dire to the extreme. They might has well have put a copy of 'A Day At The Races' on the floor and all taken a steaming communal slash all over it.
  15. Me and a group of mates have decided to head out to Copenhagen for the Roskilde Festival this year...all looks and sounds pretty amazing but as a festival 'virgin' I could do with a few insider tips on what to take and what to expect. Has anyone been to Roskilde before? Any tales to tell from Glasto etc?
  16. Afternoon Delight was by the Starland Vocal Band...as popularised by Anchorman.
  17. I have to say I'm a fan of both Rio and Light My Fire (except Will Young's version). However I'm not a fan of that song by Timmy Mallett and Bombalurina - Itsy Bitsy Teeny Weeny...et al.
  18. Oh and I met Super Hans from Peep Show in the Islington Academy, miserable bugger....(Matt King?!). Dont think he much liked me referring to him as Super Hans mind you.
  19. He was actually a really nice bloke and quite flattered we recognised him!
  20. I'll take the criticism for Shakin Stevens - I think I have a soft spot for it as it was the first 7" I ever bought, shunned 'Ebony and Ivory' for it. I also detest 'Under The Boardwalk' by Bruce Willis and anything by David Hasselhoff, including the dreadful 'Jump In My Car'. These people should stick to acting, or in the Hoff's case, retire.
  21. Myself and a mate met Ken Hom at Waterloo station drawing out cash...he's tiny! He also didn't have his wok on him, which I did find a touch disappointing.
  22. Sorry Sherwick, but I regard 'This Old House' as a pop classic, albeit a trashy one.
  23. 1. 'The Frog Song' by Wings - absolutely dreadful. 2. That song by the Fast Food Rockers - 'Mc Donalds, McDonalds, Kentucky Fried Chicken and-a-Pizza Hut' 3. 'Save Your Love' by Renee and Renato
  24. Did you find the show entertaining Alan? My view is if it ticks the entertainment box who cares what products and services are lauded in front of me. I cant say I noticed anyway!
  25. Mark sounds like Sir Alan's future Apprentice. He clearly saw an opportunity and took it. Advertising on a prime time BBC show for ?165? There's the real bargain. Anyone want a free skeleton...?
