Well there was this big apocalyptic explosion and there I was crouching on the ground outside Jojo Maman Bebe with nothing on. I think my first words were 'give me your clothes' to some bloke having a drink outside the EDT... Sorry, saw Terminator Salvation last night and had a pretty random dream to that effect.

My good friend Lauren is featured in this show and I was in to watch it for the first time last night. It basically thrusts 5 twentysomethings into the far east and follows their attempts to survive on the absolute pittance people earn farming rice/processing food/keeping livestock. I found the whole thing a massive eye opener and was absolutely appalled at the conditions these people work/live in and the lengths they have to go to to provide for their families. Has put me off my monthly curry on the Lane for a while!! Did anyone else catch it? All the episodes are on BBC iPlayer on the interweb...highly recommended viewing!

I tried some pizza/bread on my way back from Sainsbury's as I was walking past and was really tasty...and the colour is certainly eyecatching! They should do well.

I did work experience when I was 16 working for a pest exterminator. He used to go about in his van removing anything from birds' nests to full-on rat infestations. It felt good beforehand as I was the only kid in the school who had to have injections before doing his work experience, but realised the full extent of the task about 2 days in when I came home with about 9 bee stings on my face and arm from trying to move a bees' nest from a tree...also had to remove a birds nest from someone's chimney which resulted in getting peppered with birdy poo. The boss found the whole thing a lot funnier than I did...

Just seen on the news that Susan Boyle has been admitted to The Priory. Personally I think that the degree of exposure she's had to the media over recent weeks would have anyone questioning their sanity. I hope she gets better soon.
