Hi all, Hoping someone might know... 1 week post-birth and was due our 3rd midwife visit today (Kings, East Team). Requested afternoon as we were busy this morning. I've waited in all afternoon and no visit (hours are til 5pm and it's now 5.20pm) I've not heard anything. Called and left a message but know that's unlikely to be picked up til Tues (Bank Hol on Mon) So what now? Could someone still show today? (Not sure if they have to see everyone on their list even if late) or will someone just show up Tuesday?? Info I have doesn't mention what will happen with a no show.

Hi all, Congrats Annabelle and Jo! I wondered when I got a flurry of alerts earlier if you'd have your news Jo! And I'd definitely take 8 hours! Had my dates earlier ;) Mo, hope things all better now and poor you Sally with the pox! Seriously thinking of immunising Amber to avoid that, esp when #2 is v small!! Unforch can't make tomo as my Mum's arriving at 11, hope you have a good catch up. Looking forward to the next news! Ginny -

Hi all, Pretty free tomo but thinking of going to the Bubble Party at Jelly Tots in Herne Hill 4.30-6.30. Includes food for kids, costs ?7. If anyone up for anything in the morning let me know. Not sure what or where All In One is? Ginny -
We did Level 1 and 2 in Herne Hill at Michael Tippet School with babyswimming. Was very good, will be taking #2 when arrives and old enough. #1 loved it and it's helped her confidence in water. Only downside would say is the underwater photos. They're taken by the teacher (and often takes up a whole lesson so you "miss" that other than what you might practice yourself) and you have to pay extra which is a shame. We didn't bother as were lucky enough to get a professional session for free as the swimming company wanted to update their website photos.

My last day at work today - weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee! I'm up for that time too - assuming Amber's not still asleep so will see how nap goes. Assume we'll convene at P R Park cafe to start? Re ED Cinema - I'm going to the opening this weekend - booked to the Family day to see "Home" (thinking Amber will probably go to sleep and it's supposed to have some level of humour for grown ups so we can watch it...?) as we've not started her with the cinema yet as she can barely sit still through a 5 minute episode of Peppa! Def up for toddler time in the future though. I had been hearing that the Big Scream is on Wednesdays at ED (but still hadn't seen it confirmed anywhere?) so I'm a bit gutted as they had said it would be Fridays (and Amber will only be at childminders Thurs and Fri after #2 arrives) so if anyone else is up for it in a couple of months I'll be having to stick with Peckham on Thursdays and/or Brixton on Fridays as won't be able to take Amber and #2 to the Big Scream in ED :o( Ginny x -
or email it to yourself to make it smaller (do this all the time with iPhone) and then try once you've saved it back to your photo camera roll

Hey ladies, I've got a date in my diary for Friday 17th for meeting - not sure if that is still on, I know a lot of you are due before me and have had or are about to have your little ones which may curtail meetups for a while. If anyone is up for meeting then let me know! Congrats Mo and Sally! I'm enjoying my 6 dates a day and hoping all these good births so far will rub off on all the rest of us still to go! Ginny x -

Opening weekend looking good - just worried as I've realised been on hold for ages to get tickets on my mobile and it's stupid pence per minute on this booking line. Wish I'd realised it was an expensive number earlier - these "free" tickets are going to end up costing a fortune! Still - excited it's soon to open! -

Congrats Alexia! and wow re the dates to those of you mentioning it above - I know what's on my next shopping list! Just hope ED doesn't have a shortage! ;o) Alexia - I'm not sure re the unplanned homebirth as unfortunately I'm not down for that sort of great midwife care (such a disappointment) but I'll take the quick arrival after last time too! Hope you're setting a trend! Ginny -
The one between petrol station and Ondine filled in a couple of weeks ago. Great to get the pavement space as by a bus stop (else new tree would have been better)

Spring babies 2015 (Due March, April, May)
Ginster replied to Family Room Moderator's topic in The Family Room Discussion
Hi all, congrats Ruth, welcome UKdealguide! Good to see some of you last week, numbers down a bit as to be expected as some due dates are here! For those of you on mat leave already - do suggest some meet up dates, then the rest of us can join in once we're off work (or even now if you happen to pick days the part-timers don't work). 4 weeks left at work for me (and counting...!) ;o) Hopefully the weather will be kind giving us a good Spring and Summer to help us meet up outdoors more to accommodate numbers! Hope to see many of you soon and good luck to those due any day! Ginny -
Nice restaurants with pregnancy friendly menus?!

Went to Coq D'Argent in Feb and was fine even with their very tiny Evening Standard offer menu (3 options for each course) so you'd be fine with the whole a la carte menu to choose from? -

Hey all, happy to book again or of course anyone else welcome to. What date would work for people? Have Wednesdays been a good choice? Should we mix it up incase that day hasn't suited all? Anyone on Mat leave or soon going to be might want to suggest meeting more frequently and/or during the day and we can all join as we go on leave too. -

How long is the class Daisy as we could end up out for a while depending.
