  1. Hello East Dulwich Forum, This is Raju from King's Road Cricket & Social Club - we played you guys earlier this season. Well we've got a game this Saturday in Wandsworth Common but are struggling to find one player to complete our lineup. We don't claim to be talented and this is a friendly in all senses of the word. Banter is not only welcomed, it is very much encouraged. If you are interested, email me at raju.mazumder@googlemail.com Raju
  2. Scorecard is done - I've attached it and it's also on our website here
  3. Error noted and rectified. One final q before scorecard is published: It was Andrew who kept wicket, right? Raju
  4. Dear East Dulwich Forum/CPT, Thank you very much for an entertaining game and good banter yesterday. Whilst I may have given Keith the match ball for his 2 wickets of consecutive deliveries, leaving the match poised for a close finish - we have agreed that opener Martin is our man of the match for his undefeated half century. Before I release the final version of the scorecard, I'd like to ask a question or two. What was James' surname? Who was the 4th person to bowl for you? He bowled 2 overs from the kitbag end and was wearing a dark blue top? Can you confirm those who bowled for you - James, Martin, Matt Bailey (loaned from us!), Blue Top person from previous q, Dems, Brendon, Keith and Piers. The slots we have free are on Sunday 15th June (4 weeks time) and Saturday 26th July. Hope to see you soon and thanks a lot. Raju KRCSC captain
  5. And I'm actually an Indian Test spinner from the 90s (http://content-aus.cricinfo.com/ci/content/player/33044.html). You gotta love that moustache I used to have. I'm a former sydenhamite myself - used to live on Sydenham Road (number 126) right next to the former petrol station. However now, it seems to have been redeveloped along with my other former childhood home (Knighton Park Court). Oh well. Raju
  6. Piers, Can you PM me your phone and email address so that we can confirm match details? We'll be wearing whites and matching caps but we won't mind if you dont wear whites. If it'll help, we can agree on a later start time. Raju
  7. I think we should meet at 11.00am for a midday start. What do you think?
  8. Hello East Dulwich Forumers, This horrendous picture is of me, Raju, captain of King's Road CSC taken today. That bump on my head was me miscalculating how to bat against our opening bowler - and boy does it hurt. In our last match his bowling figures were: 7 overs - 5 maiden overs - 3 runs conceded - 3 wickets. Anyway enough about him. On our website, we have a page with the details of the match (location, direction etc): http://www.krcsc.co.uk/match.php If this has not already been done, I would like to establish the match stipulations and start time. In our previous match, we agreed on: - 40 overs a side - no bowler can bowl more than 7 overs - one new ball to be used for both innings - 2 members of the batting team to umpire If you have any questions, email me at raju.mazumder at bristolalumni.org.uk Cheers, Raju
