Sorry to post something so sad, but I live on Barry Road, and there is a black and white cat near to my house that has been run over and been lying by the roadside most of this evening. It has a purple collar lying next to it, with white/silver studs on it, but nothing to identify it. If it is your cat and you want to come and collect it, it is quite near numbers 50-60, and is on the side of the road opposite Barry's off license/newsagent, at the foot of a tree. Sorry again for the sad news, but I thought it was better to post it as I know how it feels to loose a cat and not know if it is ok or not.

oi Michael, watch it! ;-) I'm up for the Gowlett too, hope to make it. And there's a pool table too so we might be able to get a few games in. If we get tipsy enough we could play 'killer pool' so lots of us can play at the same time :))

aah, looks like I missed a good night :( will definitely try to get to the next one! My plan was, like MadWorld74, to stay off the booze as I'm also doing a run on sunday, probably the same one (but not for charity, just to prove to myself I'm physically capable of it). However, despite my best intentions I might have ended up drinking with work colleagues all evening so have a bit of a headache. damn. Looking forward to the photos for this one if there were any. Were you there Andrew? ps I like you 10pm rule Brendan, it gets me off the hook for promising to run and win the Barry Barry at the last forum drinks. I'm sure I said that at about 1.30am !!

yep Moos and Sean, it was only a matter of time ;-) However I haven't yet even attempted to read the football focus thread which is rising in prominence and is (gasp) about 105 pages long and over 3,000 posts. wow. although if I had a blackberry it is entirely possible that I'd be multi-tasking my bus journey with my forum posting... oh no wait I wouldn't at the moment as I'm a bit too obsessed with when we were orphans but mustn't get my threads mixed up, on my way to book club thread in a mo...the old familiar turf...

Yeah, thanks Andrew for the photos, highly entertaining! Although Annaj... I think I might possibly have won our 'who is the least photogenic out of franki and annaj' competition! ;-)

aw, sorry grons, surfbobby, sean and everyone who I promised last night that I'd turn up to this, have realised in my sobered up state that I will write off my whole afternoon in a drunken haze if I do this, and gotta do some work (I know, on a saturday, oi-vey). But in my defense, I only heard about it for the first time and agreed to it in an extremely drunken state last night, so can't be held responsible for my empty promises (or trash talking 'yeah, I'm not only gonna do it, I'm gonna win it!') forgive me. (I might look out of my window at five past one to see you all hot footing it past though! ;-))
