  1. I suppose in the end the pie chart posted earlier outlined the inevitable: the youth of today's ignorance of her actual policies; and her informed detractors' hesitant cowardice when presented with the opportunity to actually celebrate her death. Besides the handful of clueless losers altering the Ritzy's billboard after drinking the booze they'd shoplifted earlier, it seems that the vast majority of her opponents opted to stay indoors and stew in their own impotent bitterness.
  2. I hope there aren't any children bearing witness to what vile, bitter creatures you both are.
  3. Urgh. Quit humping my leg and get a life, creep. If you can find a slot in that busy "troll hunting" schedule of yours, that is.
  4. Where did I claim to be an "expert on this Forum"?
  5. I posted on Urban75 for quite a while, as well several political message boards. Thus I'm more than "qualified" to make such a statement. These games are juvenile.
  6. Yeah, there's that as well. But more importantly it shows liberals up for the scum they are.
  7. I really pity the victim mentality fostered by some, if not all, of Mrs. Thatcher's detractors.
  8. Dumb games like the one you're playing distract from a forum's purpose. People soon get tired of discovering that a one or two word contributions constitute the majority of updates. They lose interest. Urban75 used to be pretty busy. But then the general forum (the most popular) got bogged down with the word games and bandwidth thread.
  9. Do you know these people?
  10. Just had some less-than-convincing gentlemen bang on the door asking about our faith. Both had what I think were Irish accents. One of them was/is wearing jogging bottoms with tatty brown loafers and a Celtic F.C. shirt, and the other one's wearing a dirty blue and white tracksuit with a Bukta motif and has a tattoo on his neck. Neither of them had any of the literature you'd expect legit Witnesses to carry on them. Neither did they have anything to identify themselves with.

Partisan loyalty aside, both outlets project their own prejudices. On the assumption that you're attributing "dull and worthy2 to the Guardian's readership, that's fine. But readers from the other side of the aisle have a different slant on things. Personally speaking I'd say that the Guardian fosters an entitlement mentality, along with the views it espouses being unrealistic and impervious to logic. But others may disagree, though they'd have difficulty explaining why.
  13. You could say the same about readers of the Guardian. They're just as bigoted.

    In Bruges

The film does the city a lot of justice. Sadly, I haven't been.

  16. There was an announcement at E. Dulwich station this morning warning passengers that the 7:16 to London Bridge had been cancelled due to toenail clippings on the line...
  17. Has there ever been a documented case of an e-petition actually being put forward for Parliamentary debate?
  18. What are you talking about?

The clue's in "office-based". Otherwise I wouldn't be in much of a position to comment. What's with the Xs?
  20. There's nothing more cringeworthy than male, office-based managers and execs assuming a stern expression and impressing upon those beneath them how critical a situation is by using construction or mining-based terminology (sans c*nt and f*ck) i.e. - 'We're going to have to break ground and bore down to the root of the problem.'
  21. How does inquiring upon the reaction of a position alternative to the one he stated constitute trolling? Provoking thought, yes. But hardly provoking antagonism. Some of you must've lead very sheltered lives.

    Iain Banks

    I never met him.
  23. You don't cook rice. You boil it.
  24. You do realise that the nickel found in the magnetic tape of a VHS cassette was a common cause of skin allergies before the dominance of DVDs, don't you?
  25. If your DVD collection isn't predominantly subtitled; and you don't bake your own bread, then your results are meaningless.
