  1. Yes, you are selfish for oh so many reasons. Has anybody noticed how many dropped kerbs front garden parking spaces cannot actually accomodate the length of the vehicle therefore the vehicle protrudes onto the pavement and obstructing it and causing problems for pedestrians, disabled, visually impaired and mums with prams to name but a few. (What are you doing about that JB?)
  2. Utter rubbish info you were given rch. Think about it and apply sense and knowldge and recent history etc! You've been fobbed off.
  3. If the existing PO site is closed, they will move a micky mouse PO Counter service into a convenience store that will not only be inconvenient but will not offer the full range of services that the current PO does. Now you go on line and find out where the PO service you require is-it is not around here! The current PO site will most likely be sold to a large chain brewry or similar as they have the cash, and the site could become another late opening alcohol emporium for 14-25yr olds open 7 days a wk till 3am. Fight the closure. Organise and be heard. Ask your local councillors to be proactive in this matter.

If PO goes into a shop it'll be yet another chain e.g WHSmith.
  5. That's yet another parking space gone.
  6. Bellend it has always been, Bellend it will remain. Even if you were to have "street food" in Bellend it wouldn't improve. Oh, wait a minute "street food", or more commonly known as "food from market stalls", have been offered on Choumert for donkeys.
  7. Exterminate
  8. What Louisa said too. Kept quiet on EDF about this one huh JB. Sounds like you want it to happen? Mind you, i don't think waitrose do PO counters. . .
  9. If you brush your teeth properley then once a day is enough. Twice a day ideal though. Btw he/she could've picked their teeth with toothpick rather than leaving it!

This has got to be a wind up, please let it be! Its not the sap that's sticky, it's the aphid excretions that are sticky as the aphids feed on the sap.
  11. And Vine
  12. Speak to them next time you're in their, tell them you understand their actions, give your verbal support, and maybe email the PO bosses giving your views. The PO staff maybe able to provide more info.
  13. Fry up
  14. Tricky one, I feel your pain. Have you tried hitting it with a stick.
  15. The butchers have been everywhere except the 'urban orchard' strangely. Amazing how this Gristwood & Kill so called arbourists are STILL allowed by the Council and elected reps to get away with this slaughter.
  16. We should all support the local main PO workers in their strike action to save their jobs not only as a matter of course, but because we all benefit from this PO. Strike action and loss of pay is always a last resort. Don't moan about the inconvenience because if it is closed down people will lose their jobs and we'll be inconvenienced for good.
  17. I can't believe this thread is still running :-D
  18. Wonder if this is related to the EDT withdrawing their planning app?
  19. Ridiculous idea. Why doesn't your 'friend' get a proper commercial unit, or a market stall (aka street food to the pretentious), rather than muck up someone elses business that has been grown over time.
  20. Another chain. Tis the end of the lane i tell ye. . .
  21. TW has more stringent checks and quality requirements than any other bottled water.
