  1. I hope you notify & consult local building control beforehand.

  3. Smiths have been rubbish for years. Once upon a time it was the shop for everyday stationary, books, etc. But not for years. Our poor cousins in Peckham should be more concerned about what will replace the store!
  4. Somewhere in the fog of my memory japanese knotweed has to be reported to the environment agency or some other body? Cut the stem at ground level, fill the stump tube with weedkiller, and burn the removed stem.
  5. Great news! A decent beer garden at last hopefully. About time as well - there are acres of park across the road for kids, plus a playground and adventure playground. I will definately be going to the Herne once the changes are made. Well done the new owners.
  6. It's just not right.
  7. Both stores have been very badly run for years - would prefer it if they were re-furbed and properly managed rather than closed. WH Smith in Forest Hill not much better.
  8. How can you fight for a school and hospital on the same site? Your machinations will lead to a substantially reduced medical facility for what will be the ghost of Dulwich hosp. But you'll have a great big school to help your reelection campaign and votes from parents who won't have anywhere local to take the sick kid! And the police stn-1 stn closed down, 1 stn sold off, and your 'fighting' for a hobby bobby to have his tea and biscuits at the ghost of Dulwich hosp! ! Right oh JB.
  9. Terrible for you. Hope you are OK.
  10. Systematic unchecked butchery and the council still pays for it. I know its not your ward rch, but why don't you have a word with your contact about the above post
  11. It was re-named in honour of Jim Bowen who lived there for a number of years. Unfortunately it is now quite rough.

So now we know why JB didn't raise it here-he doesn't care and thinks it's a good thing. Plus he's too busy 'helping businesses', what like the co-op with it's extended hours?! Very disingenuous to say you'll protest if promises aren't kept (Clegg), when you know if it gets to that stage it won't be reversed. Very selective JB. Shame you didn't fight for the police stn,and hospital like yot are for more schools & nurseries (to be built on hospital site-coincidence)?
  15. Thick winter socks? Tie/strap random metal parts to ankles? Surely cheaper?
  16. Dysfunctional
  17. As I said before-build a bubble around schools. Keep the little sh*ts in at least! Won't someone, anyone think of the children, the poor poor children?
