  1. Well done Tiddles -maybe copy it to local councillors who do not seem to be bothered about the butchery. Btw pollarding is not necessary!
  2. A bug caught from 'street food'? Surely not UG?
  3. Hi JB. 100 pages huh? Hmmm, I suspect that if ED residents did what the rest of Southwark residents do and email or ring the Council directly rather than use a middle man and post on here then this thread would probably be about 10 pages long. Still well done for playing ED folk. While I'm here there are a couple of questions/comments that you may wish to respond to over on the 'number for reporting a car blocking your drive' thread.
  4. Oh lordy! Not picked up from the kids at the fest' fair. . .
  5. Yes, (in answer to the OP).
  6. Maybe the driver parked there as a protest against the loss of street parking due to front garden parking spaces? Not the OP fault but I can't help thinking that it is an incredible waste of police time and scarce resources for them to have to deal with very minor parking infringements in a time when we do not even have a police stn here, and JB et al are concerned about police travel time to and frm this area. What say you JB? Interesting point SL-offence if drive over pavement without a dropped kerb - what about the van parked on the pavement outside ED Stn selling coffee? There isn't a dropped kerb there I don't think but the Council must sanction that I guess. Another one for JB?
  7. Agree with LadyD - there is no need to drive sen kids. Lazy lazy and poor parenting driving when not needed plus breaking traffic laws.
  8. Car drivers that 'warn' other drivers about police operating speed checks, and about traffic wardens ticketing illegal parking etc.
  9. Wisteria
  10. About time too. Motorists-the law applies to you.what next. warn robbers the police are coming. How childish the op.
  11. Cambria!
  12. The pubs are full of kids & prams, the shops are full of kids & prams, restaurants are full of kids & prams. Not too much to ask to get away from them once in a while esp' as so so much activity is geared up for/to them etc. Anyway, back on topic - the goose is out stage was the best this year, and the best part of the fair.
  13. Changed mind
  14. The chap i saw on stage was great. Shame the event is now nappy valley day out, aka goose green creche. Big shame, the fesitival has lost its way.
  15. If you drive then stick to the rules of the road. I hear that Strakers is a 'dogging' spot.
  16. Parents should teach their kids road safety.
  17. Shite.don't do it.
  18. Maybe if so called parents took responsibility for their kids and didn't let them be a nuisance then maybe things wouldn't have to change so radically-but glad they have.
