Hi everyone I received a PCN for driving in the southbound Rye Lane bus lane, just after Barclays, the other day...which I'm initially embarrassed about, it's not something I'd choose to do. Nor (before any non-drivers start jumping down my throat) do I think motorists should break the law etc... However, I've looked on streetview, and the signage and road markings seem to fall short, on several counts, of Traffic Regulations requirements. In particular - the warning sign is damaged, and located less than 20m (should be 30m) from the required left turn - the required left turn has a dotted line across it, indicating that it's a junction rather than the continuation of main traffic flow - start of the bus lane is not marked with any dotted line at all, let alone a 30m taper which is required - text on the road itself is defaced and hard to read (looks even worse on the northbound) I just wondered (as I was a visitor to Dulwich) if anyone might be kind enought to confirm (if it's on your way home) that the streetview images, and my description above) are still accurate? If the Council has fixed the matter, then it's my fault and I'll take my expensive grief...if not, then I'll appeal. Would be enormously grateful. Thanks! Richard
