  14. I like SLads & SE22mum's theory. Having done charity work with disadvantaged children whereby some of them tell me that they don't have "any" toys I believe that the more spent on a child each year the less they appreciate the value of money.
  15. Can't think of anywhere in the UK at the moment, but how about donating a bike to communities in Africa - by dropping it into Halfords in Brixton ? http://www.re-cycle.org/donate/bike/location-search?field_geofield_distance[origin]=LONDON
  16. *blowing dust off Tambourine & heading down to the crossing near co-op*:)
  17. Great thank you panda boy. I agree with your thoughts!
  18. I'd be interested in seeing this proposal / pamphlet. I have lived in East Dulwich for many years & have both historic family ties to the area and also have generations of family buried at Camberwell Old Cemetery, so I would be both devastated & very annoyed if their graves were disturbed.
  19. I also noticed the same Christmas tree there yesterday ...if you look closely I think they have 2 Christmas trees up! ...maybe they've been left up from last year.....?
  20. Oh I loved Tales of the Unexpected! ....that theme tune got me rushing to watch it every time!
