  1. This has to be the best post on this entire forum. It also made me snort with laughter at my desk. 2. Perhaps Peckham offers better value for money for your coffee because it's a less desirable place to visit/live? I know I'd rather pay more to have my coffee here.
  3. Hi EmED There's a Lloyds Pharmacy on North Cross Road which has a small selection of mainstream makeup. :)
  4. Completely agree with Tommy1000. What you're experiencing sounds awful and, in my opinion, your original post showed remarkable restraint. Why stop at singing? - I'm sure a good dose of heavy metal or perhaps some dubstep would drown out the racket coming from her washing machine at 2am in the morning... ;p Ok, maybe not, but try some of the options mentioned in Tommy1000's post before being pushed out by this horrible woman. Best of luck!
  5. 'To the Lighthouse' by Virginia Woolf. Tripe.

  8. Hi James I just wanted to say a big thank you for pushing Southern on the litter issue around the train station. I noticed a man clearing up the mess the other day - the area looks so much better now. Let's hope they make it a regular occurence!
  9. Hi James Thank you for getting back to me so quickly. I'm sorry to hear that even your requests are not being listened to by Southern because, as you say, the area is quite embarassing. Can they just keep failing to deal with it? Would it make much difference if the contact details of the relevant person(s) at Southern were given so that those who care about it enough are able to exert some additional pressure? Thanks again.
  10. My parents stayed at a lovely B&B in Dulwich called the Lilac Door. They would definitely recommend! http://www.lilacdoor.co.uk/
  11. Hi James This may have already been addressed elsewhere on the forum but, as the situation doesn't appear to be changing, I wondered if you know who is responsible for the area around the footpaths up to the platforms at ED station. The new lights outside the station are lovely (thank you), but the litter is an eyesore (which is especially bad when this is the first part of ED any visitors might see) and a danger to any wildlife living in that area. Any help with this would be much appreciated. Thank you! :)
  12. Love the blog! One request, can you revert to the original tumbler footage for the 'Friends in East Dulwich who complain about being in Zone 3'?? It was a man sliding backwards and had us in stitches! Thank you :)
