Future Thameslink service from Peckham Rye

More grist for your mill Renata. Late last year I gave up getting the 7.34 Peckham Rye - Farringdon (then on to Euston Sq) after using the route daily for several years. Just too unpleasantly packed and occasionally not able to get on at all. I now exclusively use the bus on the way in. Adds 20-25 minutes to the journey but I don't arrive at work already massively stressed. -

Hi J-Rex, my brother lived in Chorlton for a quite a few years and really liked it. I tend to think of it as Manchester's answer to East Dulwich, it is pretty gentrified. Pretty quick to get into town on the Metrolink. The Horse and Jockey on Chorlton Green is a decent pub as I remember (I've not been in there for a while). Place has a nice feel to it.
