  2. Hi - I have a recommendation for another Steve (07962588326). He has been looking after my elderly Mother's garden - starting with a big clear up and now just pops round when he has a spare hour to weed, tidy up and cut her some flowers fom the garden. He's very much self-motivated so I can just leave him to do what is necessary and don't even have to book him in any more .. he just pops by when he's in the area. He's a hardworking and sensitive soul.
  3. Hi everyone ... Please see below an urgent appeal from Celia Hammond's in Lewisham. Many thanks fi URGENT APPEAL FOR CLEAN TOWELS AND BEDDING... Our Lewisham branch are in desperate need of clean towels and bedding (unfortunately no duvets though as these are very hard to clean) for our cats and kittens. Do you have any spare towels and/or bedding that you could drop off to our Lewisham branch? The clinic is able to accept any donations from Monday to Friday 9am-6.30pm and Saturday's from 1pm-5pm. The clinic is based at 233-235 Lewisham Way, London SE4 1UY. In exceptional circumstances we may be able to collect but we do try to keep the use of our vehicles for our rescue and homing work so would really appreciate any items dropped off to us wherever possible....please also remember to leave your name & e-mail address at the clinic so that we can thank you! Thank you!

  7. Hi - we've just come back from Sipan Island off the Croatian coast http://www.adriatic-home.com/Croatia/%C5%A0ipan/House-NIKOLA-3984 The house has 3 bedrooms (as well as kitchen and dining room) and an amazing terrace overlooking the bay - and it's (relatively) cheap. The weather was about 26-30 degrees centigrade every day. It's the second time we've stayed at this property on the island and we adore it there. Total peace and quiet, beautiful countryside, lovely owner of the house (who can organise airport to ferry transfer for you) and just the ticket to get away from all the rain! Feel free to PM me if you need more info. Cheers fi
  8. Update: 7pm ... No plod outside the house of the MP "for Redditch, Inkberrow, Cookhill and Feckenham" but I did see a woman (poss. Jackie Brown) going into said house when I scampered past. It's weird ... plod there whilst she's indoors/sleeping etc and then no plod at all and her, just brazenly going about her business, like she's normal. Or something.
