New curry house - east dulwich road
Horsebox replied to Louisa's topic in General ED Issues / Gossip
All makes sense now. The reason The Dulwich Fox is so quick to write off restaurants in the area is because he's On the payroll of an as yet unnamed Indian restaurant. Right? -
Futterman's Rule should have applied here. If the host and the guests all abide by Futterman's, then awkward situations such as this will be avoided.

Good luck, let us know how you get on!

Lambeth North city farm were advertising for a voluntary post earlier this week (on Reddit) Might not be exactly what you're after but perhaps of some use/interest?

At best they'll be made from short filler tobacco with sub-standard leaves for binder, at worst, floor sweepings, dirt, plastic. Takes the dangers of smoking to a new level!

As an aside, If you are going to purchase cigars, then purchase them only from La Casa Del Habano outlets, or Casa de Tabaco / Tienda del Tabaco stores. Anything else you see for sale, on the street, on the beach of from someone who's 'brother-in-law works for Cohiba' will 99% be fake.

Franklins shop usually stock it.

I can't say that I've ever 'touched base' with my family. If the day comes when I ever suggest it, I fully expect my wife to engage in a touch of blue-sky thinking and consciously uncouple from me.

Quite. An honest post detailing OP's new business venture would have been a much better way to go about things.

Sweaty Betty - the final nail in the gentrification coffin?

At least he died doing something he loved.

A fascinating subject and one close to my own heart, ruffers. We've used Stormguard over large, draughty single-glazed windows before and it really made a difference. Had one pack with tape that wouldn't stick to the frame, but this was an anomaly and swiftly replaced by amazon. If you can double-up with draught-excluding tape (where necessary) then do so. No experience of other brands but I suspect they are all very similar.

My wife used to live in Paris and I spent nearly every other weekend there for 14 months. If you're looking for good, off the beaten track, neighborhood restaurants here are few: Au Pied du Sacre Coeur - highly recommended, not at all touristy but booking advised as it's a fairly small space. http://au-pied-du-sacre-coeur.com/ http://www.tripadvisor.co.uk/Restaurant_Review-g187147-d799578-Reviews-Au_Pied_du_Sacre_Coeur-Paris_Ile_de_France.html Kd Bistro / Bar - 1 rue Pradier, 75019 - a real locals place, very close to the Parc Buttes Chamont, so if you fancy checking out one of Paris' few parks then ideal for afterwards. Le Bistrot du Peintre - This one is in the 11th and a stones throw from Ave Parmentier / Metro Voltaire. The name alone should appeal to the artists in the group! http://www.tripadvisor.co.uk/Restaurant_Review-g187147-d719046-Reviews-Le_Bistrot_du_Peintre-Paris_Ile_de_France.html For an interesting market you could try the Marche aux Puces, which if you don't know it is a huge flea market specialising in antiques. Great place for a wander. http://www.marcheauxpuces-saintouen.com/1.aspx And finally, The Promenade Plantee, an old railway line turned into a landscaped park, another great option for a morning stroll. http://next.paris.fr/english/parks-woods-gardens-and-cemeteries/gardens/promenade-plantee/rub_8212_stand_34230_port_18987 Have a great trip!
