I sadly have to leave East Dulwich due to crazy rents. I've been looking at Nunhead which is more affordable, but I'm unsure about safety at the station. What are your thoughts? I went to view a property at 2pm on Saturday and walked past the station to check it out and I was nearly mugged (boy on bike with hood up came from behind and blocked me in - I think he thought I was on the phone - realised I wasn't and went off) . Not a good first impression. Was I unlucky or is this a problem in the area? Any thoughts appreciated - especially from a woman's point of view coming home late at night.

Maybe a website or blog would be better - could be updated on a daily basis and therefore more immediate news. Cheaper too!

Yes! It's been terrible for about 2 weeks. Constant buffering when trying to watch iPlayer etc.

Yes,it's still there next to William Rose. Not sure of it's opening hours though.

What's it like living around The Gardens off Peckham Rye? I'm looking to rent and seen a few coming up around there, but don't know it all. Is it a safe quiet place to live? Nice community feel?

They were giving out slices of pizza on Saturday and can vouch that it was very good. I'll be giving it a go and handy for when The Gowlett feels too far.

I'm finding since the platforms 14-16 have been closed at LB that the 9am, 9.10am and 9.20am often have delays and cancellations. Anyone else having problems at different times?

I have a friend who wants to drive up and park nearby tomorrow - near Melbourne Grove. I have just looked on my street and there are no signs to say what the parking restrictions are. Being a non driver I have no idea! Can anyone help? Many thanks

Unfortunately, we're not in the catchment area for The Gardens and DMC are a nightmare. Looking for somewhere where you can book an appointment without having to wait 3 weeks and the doctors are half decent! Doesn't seem to be easy. I hear lots of good things about The Gardens, so it's a real shame we can't register.

So sorry to hear about your break in. Seems to be a common topic on here. I hope you were insured and get replacements soon. The worst part is the non-replacable sentimental belongings. I hope they get caught! Horrible thing to happen to anyone. All the best
