  4. Renata and Vicky Thanks for your post above, I wonder if you have any update for the residents of Solomons Passage, can you provide us with an update from the outcome of your meeting? We are still trying to get a fair deal to be able to stay in the local area, but not getting anywhere fast. Any help will be much appreciated.

  6. how this thread has provided me with amusement, at one stage, I even spat out my M&S bottled water, I was laughing so much at the craziness of this thread.....
  7. Solomons Passage resident here again, I am pleased that the Councillors continue the discuss the needs of Solomons Passage residents within their cross party meetings, we look forward to hearing their agreed plan of action to support to residents
  8. hi Spider. Solomons Passage resident here. We are currently in a process of negotiation with Wandle over the terms and conditions of our move out before the extensive renovation/ demolition begins. What that means for all of us is providing us with the opportunity to be able to replace like for like in the local area that we have built our lives, work and call home that we desperately don't want to leave. This process is not quick and to be honest we are hardly off the starting blocks. Harriet Harman and her office are supporting us through the process and applying constant pressure to Wandle and their support has been truly fantastic in such challenging times.
  9. another article in the local press http://www.southwarknews.co.uk/news/residents-condemned-wandle-flats-say-back-square-one-demands-go-unheeded/
  10. Thanks for all of your support everyone, another resident here, we are all still in shock at the upheaval that this is going to cause, there are so many individual stories, so many lives affected. As you have seen we are all in negotiations with the housing association to see what agreement we can come to.

  14. Ive treated myself to a new car not two weeks ago... today pops into my post box a penalty charge notice, for being in a queue of traffic (surprise, surprise) on Lordship lane for my back wheels being in a yellow box! Near the Bishop and east dulwich grove Its my fault from the pictures, but just FYI big brother is always watching! took the shine of the joy of a new car.. thats for sure!
  15. My goodness what an area of pet overs we all are, nothing like a good pet story to get the forum going. As if they need it, but the neighbourhood vet has our big sel of approval. We and our lovely little cat Bridget love them. Its gets our thumbs up.
