  1. After reading reviews on this forum and obtaining various quotes we decided to go with London Interior Shutters and very happy that we did. They were prompt with the quote, very reasonable and above all, the shutters look great. We dealt with a guy called Daniel who was brilliant. I recommended them to my sister (notoriously fussy) who was as happy with her shutters as I am. Would highly recommend.
  2. Where was this WorkingMummy? I recently received a ticket myself for parking in a loading bay. I was genuinely unloading and was less than 5 minutes (even though the time limit was 20 minutes) and was given a ticket by a 'ticket enforcement officer' who didn't want to know my explanation. I appealed the decision by making a representation on-line at the tfl website and won the appeal. So it is well worth appealing!
  3. Thanks for the heads up Dimples. Terrifying to think this is happening near us
  4. Its surely got to be Chris Robshaw. Not only is he a great captain but you would like to think that he would be nailed on as the Lions flanker. If England were to win the Grand Slam I think he would be odds on. Sam Warburton's a great player but is injury prone and in his infancy as regards captaining a national team.
  5. Grandouet in the 15.20 at Cheltenham has got my backing. Not bad value at 8/1 either

    Summer?

Thanks for the Barnsley chop education guys. Looks amazing. Might just have to get myself down to William Rose...

    Summer?

Great work Annette Curtain. Definitely the first BBQ I'm aware of this year! One question though- what's a Barnsley chop?
  8. There's reports in tomorrows newspapers that Dulwich Hamlet striker Daniel Carr has been invited for a trial up in Liverpool. Has anyone seen him play? He clearly must have some potential!

My wife and I sold our flat last year with House Network due to lack of funds and extortionate quotes of commission and was over the moon with them. Commission worked out around 0.6% of flat value which saved us a fortune. There are loads of on-line companies out there but found out about House Network on Money Saving Expert. If you're interested this code gets you ann extra 5% off: EHAMYQKTNJ
  10. I'd be very surprised if they are awarded a license to sell alocohol between 11.00pm and 05.00am with the Government looking to crack down on binge drinking incidents. Echoing Sue, I've never witnessed any trouble at the Costcutter store either.

    Summer?

The sun is out and there's an ice cream van serenading the public with the Popeye theme tune on Lordship Lane- does this mean Summer has arrived??
  12. It was interesting watching Barca search for an away goal against AC milan last week in the Champions League throwing Pique up front and launching the ball forward a la Wimbledon of old. Something I never thought I'd see with Barca. They're missing Tito Vilanova a lot more than people thought!
  13. Done! Thanks for bringing it to our attention!

  15. Now that is willpower. Is it for the Dryatalon initiative?? I bet you're feeling better for it...
  16. As January is drawing to a close, I was wondering if anyone has stuck to their New Years resolutions? Do people still make New Years resolutions?
