Click & Collect from Argos in Sainsbury’s

Sainsburys is Dog Kennel Hill not Denmark Hill. Is that just a typo? 76 Denmark Hill is a Subway in Camberwell. -
The year of my A levels. Remember the teachers bringing round jugs of orange squash as we took our exams. This is in the days before everyone carried a bottle of water.

Yes I ordered free Lateral Flow Tests on the gov.uk site yesterday. Being delivered today.

Anyone else having problems getting the booster for the housebound? I have a elderly relative housebound due to general health & dementia. Was not housebound for 1st & 2nd dose given back in Dec 2020 & Jan 2021 so well overdue for booster. Got initial generic message from NHS linked to web site that has no info about housebound. GP said that booster was nothing to do with them. Left it a week or so & phoned GP again. Said nurse was off sick. Phoned following week. Nurse still off sick, receptionist would ask doctor what was happening. Got call back same day saying either District Nurses or staff from Tssa Jowell would be doing housebound boosters in the next 2 weeks. After 3 weeks phoned again & told that had been scrapped & 2 doctors from the practice were going to do the jabs but they were waiting for further instructions from NHS/governement. That was a week ago. I don't think this is limited to our GP. Seen a couple of similar stories in the press & on the BBC this morning.

Tessa Jowell are doing walk-ins which means you might have a bit of a wait. I had a booked appointment for 2pm & arrived at 1:55pm but a couple of walk-ins registered just infront of me & I had to wait 30mimns to be jabbed. There were about 15 people waiting. So in total nearly an hour needed with the 15min wait after the jab.

No help to anyone who's already been fined but the Waze app seems to update its info very quickly. It's certainly has the Dulwich restrictions marked & gives alternative routes depending on time of day. I'd be lost without it!! -
Just had London Interior Shutters fit my bay window. Excellent service from start to finish. Local company. Very reasonably priced. Extremely pleased. https://www.inshutters.co.uk/

Southwark test centres seem to be London Bridge Station & Bournemouth Road. https://www.southwark.gov.uk/health-and-wellbeing/coronavirus/get-a-free-covid-19-test/book-a-test-if-you-don-t-have-symptoms/mass-testing -
Lordship Lane closed at Bawdale Road due to a police incident. Taped off. May be connected to the Air Ambulance that has just taken off.

JustGiving - support for local cat sitter Cat Calls

A kinder & more generous person you couldn?t meet. Had looked after my cats for so many years that I?ve ended up working for her at Cat Calls. Please contribute if you can. -

But its scale is at the > surgery, rather than the mass vaccination centre > level. This I got the general NHS letter first with the link which had as the nearest Rosendale or Brixton. I booked Rosendale. Then couple of days later got a text from The Gardens Surgery with the link to book at Tessa Jowell. As that is much easier for me I cancelled Rosendale & booked for 2 days later at Tessa Jowell.

It was the doctor who vaccinated at Tessa Jowell who said I?d get a text from my GP for my 2nd vaccine in 10-12 weeks. Now that?s not clear if it?s the text or the vaccine but from my 1st text I was able to book the vaccine 2 days later. I?m also with The Gardens. -

They have changed the procedure slightly at Tessa Jowell. I had my 1st jab today & they said as I booked through the link provided by GP text I would get a similar text for my 2nd jab 10 -11 weeks time. -

I got the NHS letter yesterday & booked for pharmacy in Norwood next week. Would have liked to go to the Tessa Jewell Centre as that?s so close but that?s not available online.

Garden Bins - subscribing to - how to?

Alec1 Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > I have checked on Southwark's website, and it's > said that the subscriptions for 20/21 closed in > February. That must be last February as it > includes 2020, but I can't see how to subscribe > for this year. Am I missing an important link or > process for this? Any input would be great, then > it might save me trying to get through to them! No the message meant that they were not taking new subscriptions from February 2021 as all subscriptions run from 1st of April to 31st March. They do not take part of year payment so if you'd applied in February you'd only get 2 months before having to pay again. They are begining to send out emails to existing subscribers to renew & soon new subscribers will be able to apply online for the April-March 2021/2022 year. -

I'm in group 6 due to being a carer but I believe that puts me after all the over 65's in group 6. Haven't heard from my GP yet. -
I have my kitten food! It had been delivered to completely the wrong address & the lovely lady who lived there & was expecting a similar delivery has kindly just driven round to be & dropped it off. Sorry I didn?t get your name, thank you, hope your parcel turns up soon.

Bumped this as a reminder to avoid Yodel. Delivery due yesterday between 14:43-16:43. I'm in all day. Initially couldn't track but at about 16:30 the map appeared & the van was moving around the surrounding street. I was delivery 107 of 148. At about 21:00 the van seemed to stop on Bellenden Road by Danby Street & at about 21:30 the message changed to delivered & then to delivered at 15:43. Exactly in the middle of the initial estimate! Standard web chat with Yodel this morning. Yes it was delivered, are you sure it isnt with a neighbour, someone else in your household etc. So if anyone in the Bellenden Road area comes across 2 7.5kg bags of kitten food they belong to Trevor, Batty Bertie & Sid & they are very hungry.
