  1. I would also be interested for my 4 1/2 yr old boy, thx
  2. This is all very timely. My 4 1/2 yr old son has just had an OT assessment because school were concerned about sensory integration disorder. I haven't had the feedback yet, so not sure whether he has or not. He was seen at maximum potential who would offer therapy if he needed it, at a cost!
  3. Hi, I' m looking for suggestions for afterschool activities for a 3 year old from September. He's going to be at Oakfield prep so close by would be good. School finishes at 330pm. Don't mind what, sports, drama, cooking, all suggestions welcome! Thx Vicky
  4. Hi, try the website airbnb, they do flats/ houses all over London.we're using them to put up my family next month and found a flat just round the corner!
  5. Jo Jo Maman Bebe do a version too!
  6. Hi, my son Toby is also due to start at Oakfield in September. He's a bit younger and will be three in July. I would be keen to catch up at some point before starting as you say I think it would be good for him( and me!) to have met a few people before starting, to ease transition! Vicky
  7. Hi, I agree, I liked both schools, but the buildings and outdoor area of Oakfield sold it to us. There was lots I liked about Rosemead as well. ANyway we're in the same position as you, a place at Rosemead and waiting list at Oakfield, both having a decision date of the 15th! We@re based in Streatham Hill, so again for us it was a geographical decision and why we didn't consider herne hill. So overandover, what are you ging to do?!
  8. Dear All, I have my 21/2 year old son down for Oakfield and Rosemead for next September. He has had an assessment at Rosemead and has one due at end of Jan at Oakfield. Our initial preference would be with Oakfield although it will obviously depend on if he gets in. I was just wondering what experiences others had of both schools and the admission processes. Thanks in advance.
  9. Hi All, something to consider especially for nocturnal coughs is asthma. Often bought on by viral infections in the under ones, but common at all ages. Should respond to Ventolin inhaler which can be prescribed by GP.
