Hi I had the same issue with my daughter, we had private lessons at Jags sports club, unfortunately the teacher we used has moved abroad but if you look on their website there are other teachers listed. Just so you know the private lessons make a huge difference my daughter is now a happy and confident swimmer so well worth the price!!

Hi my daughter is 7 and recently had some bloods done we had the option of the gp or the hospital and we chose the gp So maybe worth checking whether your gp offers them They did say it was up to the phlebotomist whether he would allow them to be done at the surgery but as my daughter had no problem with having them done he was happy to carry it out

I think you need to look at each individual child rather than assuming that all summer born babies will suffer from being the youngest. My youngest started reception in September and her bday is mid July I can genuinely say that she is at no disadvantage she copes very well with the whole day at school and seems no more tired than any of the other children in her class. Academically again is doing fine, some people have commented on how well she is doing for a summer baby which I'm not sure if I should be offended or not!!! There is no reason why summer babies shouldn't do as well as their peers.

Hi I don't post very often and although I can see that Cathy has clarified the situation I just wanted to say that I was one of the sellers on Sunday I have sold at all the sales so far and have always done well. I would just like to say that Cathy would never to anything as sly as this to get people into the sale. She is a genuinely lovely lady who works hard to promote the event. We all get sent posters and flyers to hand out at play groups and libraries etc and try hard to promote the event through word of mouth as well. I do hope people will not be put off coming again I don't understand why anybody would want to damage the name of the business but worse than this clearly get a kick out of promising stuff to lovely forum members when these don't exist.
