Whilst posting yesterday afternoon walked past a parked little car with cameras on top, and ANPR on side. It was parked at junction of St Norbert road and Brenchley Gdns. set up cameras to take pictures at vehicle registrations. Cut a long story, being nosy, Asked occupant are there any issues with any road closures etc, As I am fed up with fines being a motorist, one day you can drive up a road next day road closure. Fine in post. He told me waiting for car to pick vehicle parked behind him as was not taxed. walked back hour later, still there. I think they maybe covertly checking vehicles as at a vantage point rat run. Maybe I am getting paranoid. What do you think?

I am not a pessimist at all. Since March, My social life has ceased, Dont go anywhere. Hardly see my family, Go out late for a walk with my husband, Hardly anyone is social distancing, pubs people were sitting 1 ft apart back to back [ only takes one sneeze]. Runners, run past me less than a metre, I cannot hear them coming, puffing panting. We have gone into another lockdown, Arrests in Trafalger sq Mums all congregating round local school no distancing. still no enforcement of masks in shops. They will let us out for xmas, They will all go mad, So maybe another lockdown in Jan/feb. Spoke to friend who said, Why are we wrecking our economy, Oldies of 85 are on their way out. Do we stand a chance?

I am in favour of masks, and in fact double up with scarf over top. but they buy these masks, and only token wear them either balance them on chin or just cover mouth, leaving nose completely uncovered. I dont think we stand a chance with this selfish attitude whatever decent mask we buy

I like the Memsaab, and was thinking of booking a table for my family as a treat, but its not good if you book an early table, half way through your meal, the place starts filling up to capacity, And you think, what do I do, carry on eating, or buggering off. because you are worried, I like foxy am old, and take little risks, not many. I would try something here establish when milk comes [ delivery ] I have seen them delivering late at night 1 oclockish, wait till milk arrives, leave it on step, run fine line from gate make sure its secure run it out of sight, dark cotton would do, lets say behind wheelie, or suspended it to wheelie. Hang a couple of aluminium cans or something light that would make a racket, make sure the cans have something hard to fall on, an old tin tray maybe on a couple of bricks.I am sure your neighbours would understand in this situation I certainly would. when thief opens gate, the cans drop, and hopefully thief may leave you be, You may even get a glimpse of them
