There is an expansive thread on Vodafone somewhere on the forum. Last year for months I had extremely poor reception on both 3G and calls as did many other people in ED. Some of us managed to get sure signals out of Vodafone for free. This worked and I haven't had a problem since. It took some doing to get it out of them, I ended up pestering them daily. I'd recommend ressurecting the old thread and pointing Vodafone to it. Remember that each call is logged and will probably generate some kind of KPI. So the more calls made the better (for the customer).

Shit this is horrendous. I feel for you if my bikes got torched I'd go into turbo psycho mode. Hope the police find the bastards. -

Not too sure about this, blocking for access to exit is illegal. Blocking for entry isn't (not withstanding emergency access).

They would have arrested the cleaner this evening for questioning, however I gave the company the chance of resolve at dinner time (the offer was to meet with the supervisor tonight) and told the police of this meeting. From then I was advised that if a resolve could not be found they would refer the case to the CID due to the nature of the charges. If a resolve was found they would not take further action. I met with the company supervisor tonight and settled the matter. After doing so I provided the info to the police. The case is now resolved. To those who I was abrupt with I apologise, to those who cast insult, well whatever i'll probably join you with banter in another thread anyway. It was the staff member who stole, but the company contracts the staff and hold some accountability for the checks the carry out and people they provide hence why I named them (no diffent to watchdog). Hopefull it's just 1 bad egg but I have no trust in them and am entitled to this. -

It was drawn for our holiday (aginast my will) as my wife is privvy to a direct no charge no commission exchange rate at work. A word of warning. We have been contracting a bi monthly clean for our flat through www.cleanerdulwich.com . It has come to our attention tonight that we believe the cleaner has stolen a sizeable amount of money we set aside for our holiday. Nobody has accessed or has access to the property other than myself and wife (since the clean 2 days ago), the money was foolishly left in a basket type drawer that we believe she removes to clean. Do not use this service you cannot trust the staff they employ. We offered an amnesty but were met with denial as such I had to involve the authorities.

I do it with startling regularity - waiting for one to come through now actually. Pay it with contempt and villify the council for their money making schemes - was there a pot hole in the vacinity that caused you to swerve into that lane and once in it you went with it as any other further manouver would be deemed unsafe and pose a risk to the general public ? Worth a try and they will have to investigate - the cost of the investigation (checking the road and the maintenance records) will be more expensive than your fine....winwin. On second thoughts your screwed - STOP press there may be hope. If my stree tview image is correct and the sign is except for acess tell them you needed to access it http://www.pistonheads.com/gassing/topic.asp?f=10&t=817356

you could try and drop them a letter outlining your concerns, though I'd try and talk to them after the bank holiday as no doubt they will be on a come down today. I find my amp complete with skrillex to be highly effective in the morning. or you could take apart a microwave and aim the beam at their sound system in an attempt to over load the amplifier (will cause long term health issues but so does drinking until 0830 in the morning).
