  1. Found in the SE22 area. DM me with the model/year, and approximate location/date lost and I'll happily return!
  2. S-Lime bikes are becoming a blight on the area. I'm tripping over the darn things every time I leave my home. Eghhh! Can't we all just start owning things again whist still being happy?
  3. Same issue. Tracked mail completely missing. Says it was posted two weeks ago but showing not delivered.
  4. This is the "you will own nothing and be happy society". These things are littered everywhere on my street. Someone needs a word with the council about this idiocy.
  5. Damn, I missed it. I could hear the music and had no idea what it was! Which one? East Dulwich Road or Peckham Rye?
  6. Is he any good?
  7. I left East Dulwich and have since returned 10 years later and this thread is still on the first page of the forum. I need some time to process this...
  8. Sadly they are only going to continue to diminish. Be thankful that cash is still around at the moment. If CBDC ever becomes a thing in the UK (and it likely will, unless people push back enough), then say goodbye to any form of cash and high-street banking. Programmable money is what they want, and that is not a good thing.
  9. Thanks I’ll DuckDuckGo it for an algorithmic suggestion then.
  10. I’m interested. PM me.
  11. Keen to join a Table Tennis Club around the area. Nothing too serious but somewhere to train with others, improve and have the odd game with those at a similar (intermediate) level. Also happy to meet others looking for knock about! Any suggestions? (if this isn't the correct section then I'm happy to re-post)
  12. Are there any full-stack developers and/or tech entrepreneurs in East Dulwich? I'm running a tech start-up and may have requirements for short/medium term projects in the coming weeks/months. My business is a B2B customer engagement platform. We're currently undergoing a 2-week trial with a large finance company. If we close, there could be quite a bit of development work required in the coming months. I'm also looking to find potential partners moving forward, so it would be good to meet like-minded people in the SE22/21 community.
  13. I've secured my bike to a lamppost outside my propery for the last 5 years and have never had an issue. I use Almax chains (Almax Immobiliser Series III): http://www.almax-security-chains.co.uk/ You need to spend around ?70 on the chain and ?90 on the lock, but I highly recommend!
  14. They call them teelies.
  15. A dog shop? Is that a joke?
  16. I got the same fine a few years ago for my motorcycle - just the font wheel slightly on the pavement. So think yourself lucky, as I had the same fine, but for only one wheel!
  17. Bring back Liquorish!
  18. I blame Google auto-correction, your grammar is rotten ;)
  19. The're a mouse loose aboot this hoose
  20. Were they middle class or working class rats?
  21. All sounds like Cold Play on the part of the Council to me.
  22. Dunno about everyone else, but I'm gonna Skate.
  23. I earn a six figure salary. And so does my partner. We both own more than 50% of our properties at current mark-to-market (the rest being mortgaged). We are both in our 30's. I am working class, although most people would call me middle class. I have a friend who owns and grew up in a manor house just outside of London. He considers himself middle class, but most people would call him upper class. He doesn't NEED to work, but he does. We know the Marquess of a large city - he would be considered Upper Class. He doesn't work. But does any of this really matter!? I like a greasy spoon and I also like a Michelin stared restaurant. I like a cheap boozer, but also enjoy a good cocktail at a good hotel bar for example. But I'll never buy the Range Sport or any other wannabe Chelsea Tractor. I can't stand people trying to fit themselves and others into boxes. Just enjoy life!
  24. Everyone seems to want to call themselves middle class. The truth is that the majority of people are working class of varying degrees (typically based on the brand of the push chair/pram/buggy). If you have to work to live, then I'm sorry to say, you're working class.
