  2. Yep, come on Otta, get yourself down to watch KCH play - only on Turney Rd, not far from ED. Season starts on 19th September, with our 2s at home and the 1st XV away to Old Gravesendians. Most of the England matches and any convenient other games will be on the TV, friendly crowd (most of the time) if you like a rugby club / mixed sports club atmosphere. If you fancy a runout, we have a vet's team that have a couple or three games a season. www.kchrfc.co.uk
  3. Saw Communicating Doors last night at the Menier Chocolate Factory. Very entertaining.

  6. I'f you're in Lewisham, get to any of the libraries or Shannon's Garden Centre in Forest Hill and buy a roll of green bags (?10 for 10 - cash only) bag them up, book a collection date on the Lewisham website and they'll take them away for you.
  7. I'd approach this one caerphilly if I were you.

  10. Hi Northwoods If your wife is into rugby and you live in the Forest Hill area, you could come down and watch grass roots rugby at Kings College Hospital RFC, a P4 bus ride from the Horniman Museum and a short walk from Dulwich Village to our ground on Turney Road. The season starts in a month or so, our first home game of the season is on September 14th - 3pm kick off, see www.kchrfc.co.uk for more details. We have a bar, friendly supporters and we've even had a few Americans play for us over the years. We are based here: http://goo.gl/maps/QoRct if you fancy the oval ball instead of the round one. Iain
  11. Apple won't repair your phone - I took mine in with a broken screen. They also have a damp indicator inside, so they know if it got wet. They did sell me a new iPhone 4 for ?150 (I think) with a 3 month warranty.
  12. If you want a sports injury type person, give Chris Barber a bell at the Advanced Physio Centre. I've used them loads of times to sort out rugby injuries. He's got a clinic at Brockwell Lido http://www.advancedphysiocentres.co.uk/location.php?location=herne_hill fully recommend him.
  13. Mon Petit Chou, Lordship Lane
  14. None that I know of within 5 minutes, but there's one on the high street in Forest Hill, which is probably 10 minutes, or slightly further afield Forest Hill Pools have a gym.

    Rugby matters

Hi All If you're looking for somewhere to watch the 6N, Dulwich Sports Ground are showing all the games. KCH Rugby Club will be there in force, so it should be a good rugby (but family friendly!) atmosphere. The 1st XV are playing away on Saturday, but should be back for the late kick off and there should be a good crowd for Sunday's game. Beer is cheap, there will be food available and it's only a short walk from the middle of Dulwich Village. If any of you are players (or you know anyone who is) and fancy joining us on the field, training is on Tuesday night and full details of the club can be found here: www.kchrugby.com our first team are competitive in the Kent 1 league and we put out a regular 2nd XV in a more social league. You'll find us at Dulwich Sports Ground, 104 Turney Road, SE217JH (the old South Bank University sports ground) anyone who has had contact with us before - please note we have moved home recently. This is our current address. Enjoy the games! Iain KCH 2nd XV
