  1. I found David after reading all the posts on the Forum and I can thoroughly recommend him as a personal trainer. I started training with him weekly in September this year after a knee operation in May. I was a keen runner but at the age of 51 was doing too much during lockdown and managed to tear my meniscus. I needed to find a trainer to help me long term with the recovery by building core strength and maintain balance within my weekly exercise routine. David?s help has been invaluable and I really do enjoy and look forward to the sessions. I come away energised and motivated. David creates original and well-balanced programmes and always makes sure you know what to do for the rest of the week. After just two months, I feel stronger, have increased energy levels and better mobility. He?s even been able to get me doing a proper press up. I?m no longer feeling discomfort in my knee joint since starting the program and I can see and feel the results of the workouts. Most of all David is incredibly knowledgeable, patient, professional, great fun and such a fabulous motivator. He can actually make exercising a joy.

  5. First Class Degree PhD in Applied Maths from Corpus Christi College, University of Oxford Fellow of the Institute of Actuaries I have a very practical and detailed knowledge of Maths from both being a parent and my professional status. I have tutored GCSE maths focussing on students in Year 10 and Year 11. Whilst I was studying at Oxford, I taught A level maths in a local private school and taught a first year University Maths course to Geology students. I am flexible and can prepare homework, work alongside current school curriculum or focus on specific topics. I want to help children achieve their full potential and improve their exam technique. In the current COVID situation, it is crucial that children keep up with their maths course and have the ability to ask any questions in a friendly environment. I am a mum living in Dulwich Village of three children aged 12 and twins aged 15. They attend three different top performing UK independent day and boarding schools so I am fully up-to-date with school entrance exams. Please contact me privately for more information.
  6. Can I also recommend Dave at McHow - (07814833352) I contacted him last week after searching for a plumber and reading all his great reviews on the East Dulwich Forum. He arrived promptly the next day to give me a quote and quickly found the problem of a broken valve in our mega flow. It wasn?t an urgent job as was just causing a constant irritating noise but Dave isolated the noise and booked us in to repair the valve within a few days. Costs are very reasonable. Polite, very organised and punctual. Would highly recommend and definitely use again.
