Hi All. I was just wondering if any adults or children in the area would be interested in learning circus skills? My ideas for classes are really in the early stages but I wanted to find out if there would be any demand. I am an ex national sqaud gymnast and in 1998 I successfully auditioned for the Millenium Dome show. This is where I met my best friend and together we trained at The Circus Space in London for almost 2 years and gained a Cert HE in Contemporary Circus and Theatre Practice. We then went on to perform in The Dome Show performing on trapeze, bungees and stilts to name a few. That's where my circus story ended but my friend went on to perform with the world renowed Cirque Du Soleil for 7 years. She has traveled the world with the show Varekai (which is coming to the Royal Albert Hall in January actually)but recently retired and is now coming to live in ED and thought together we could share our knowledge with you all.
