Failed miserably last week so will try for April, a friend is coming for that weekend so I will see if I can persuade him to be exposed to Forum jollity!

Brendan, you know I'm too half hearted with forum posting to read the whole thread, sorry I have no real doubt you can make pancakes. I wonder if we could tell the difference between bottled and made from scratch?
Pancakes are so easy, you don't need a packet!!! Shame on you Brendan! It's literally flour with a couple of eggs mixed in and then milk added gradually while you mix. Then you leave it a bit whilst you have a beer and then you fry them.

This year we definitely should! xxx
I have to rule out nos 1 & 8 - I can't drive. I can and have done 2,3,4,5,9,11,12,14,15 I would never want to do 6 and don't think I could. I have no idea if I can do nos 7,10 and 13 but i suppose that's something to aspire to!
Georgia you are surpassing yourself with organisation! Brilliant, thank you! 6th June is my Birthday!! So pleased it's a Saturday, hadn't realised it before, I'll have to factor forum drinks into celebrations....
Would you believe it was work?! Honestly it really was. I was at the Cabinet War Rooms for a black tie dinner I organised and then got dragged to a bar in Dover Street for a very long time, at 4.30 am I was eating Chinese (second dinner or breakfast?!?) in Soho with 8 very drunk middle aged men and it was some time and many cups of tea later before I finally got in a cab. All in a days work. But ill advised on a Monday.
I went to bed at 6 am and got up at 8am, I can't quite believe I am functioning at work and was here by ten to 9. I think it might be the miracle of two dinners, although that is bound to wear off soon. I am exhausted and supposed to be out again tonight!
I had a lovely time at my first curry club, thanks Mike for organising. Great to see everyone and meet some new people. LG - I agree far too loud in Adventure Bar especially for early on a Thursday! I definitely did love my lamb, it was yummy and I think very good value too overall. I'd never been Curry Cabin before so can't compare it but I would go back. You must have been very lucky at Surma Strawbs as I didn't like it much when I went there either...
The Piano was in my mind but the opening sequence is on a beach with a wooden box which is not a coffin but actually the Piano! http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=QSXnHxdWulo
Quick apology to Jaws, I was planning to ask formal permission to date lovely Strawbs in your absence, promise!! I will take great care of her and keep her in cocktails!
You have to wonder why Wife #1 wants to be at the wedding in the first place. Surely she would be advocating it isn't a very good idea to marry the man?
