  1. Spoke to Hindwoods this morning as a board went up on the corner unit of the above development. White Stuff have a head lease on all three units and are to off the corner unit on a sub lease. For those interested the asking price is ?32,500 pa and premium offers invited (cheeky buggers, for a shell). About 500 sq ft retail A1 use only to established businesses, no start ups. So I'm afraid its a non starter for Thomas's veggie cafe.

  4. I think Raylon are trying to be non-capitalist, they actively discourage me from giving them money!

Indeed Tillie, I lived on Rotherhithe St (Downtown area)for 4 years prior to moving into ED in 1981. I think the part of Bermondsey I was referring to was the Abbey Road Grange Road St James Road triangle, not at all salubrious! BTW, when you mentioned, ?faces? did you mean faces in the south London gangster idiom?
  6. You can only use the Rosendale site if you're a Lambeth resident, the Southwark site is on Manor Place off Walworth Road welcome Newgirl

  8. I believe Foxtons own the freehold of the old DSS building near the Bishop
  9. Granted some of the more salubrious parts such as Shad Thames are rather nice but when did you last traverse Grange Road
  10. ED Station -Grand Central Station
  11. Bermondsey -Bronx
  12. Rotherithe Tunnel -Lincoln Tunnel
  13. the swan was created by a previous owner (an illustrator) of the house who recently moved onto Upland road. If I right I recall 2 other creatures flanking the swan?

As I recall it started life as a cafe , good smoked salmon on scrambled eggs!
  15. or Emilys fish bar perhaps? due for a face lift!
  16. Super tease Karter! Indeed you're correct, so, NCR.............Only unit I can think of is Anterior or is it one of the houses/shops opposite Hope and Greenwood/ Blue Mountain looking to transform back into a shop?
  17. Oh Karter you are such a tease! The old Design Six site perhaps???!?!?
  18. The jerk rock site might be to small, it works as a take away, the site opposite the station would be very risky for this type of offering, its a Starbucks or Pizza takeaway,if it has A3 use.
  19. Sorry forgot to mention, there is a "To Let" sign in the window
  20. You're welcome, The shop is called "Bonts" , next to the Anatolia restaurant, opposite the doctors surgery. The old Two Trees restaurant adjcent is undergoing refurb at present so should create some "buzz" on this parade.
  21. Thomas If you're feeling adventurous and fancy a bit of an "out post", the Junk/antiques shop on Forest Hill Road is up to let, I'm sure its A1 but it does have a deep forecourt (al fresco seating ) and surly that stretch needs some new blood. You could always try and win the landlord over to and applying for A3? Eccentric
  22. Dear DM Sorry??? did I miss something? Eccentric
  23. I am a local business person and I know of a couple of opportunities on North Cross Road, Im also looking at an A1 unit for a food operation in central London.
  24. any chance its ED, tomlinsons & Dulwich Trader?
  25. Cold food, I'm sure is OK; salads, sandwiches etc . You can also microwave, from a discussion I had with a director of a cafe chain you can do most things except cook from scratch.
