Hi, We have only 1 court and we may not be able to extend the time past 1 hour like we can on saturdays(the court might be booked after us). I think we have enough players for tonight then? Simon

Hello all, Hope everyone had fun on Saturday. I've booked 2 courts for next Saturday 1st from 11am-12 as i think there will be at least 6 of us, myself, Will, Mogs, Karter, Nick and Martell. Hopefully you can all make it, and feel free to bring more peeps. I'm interested in doing an weekly evening session also, tuesday or wednesday probably...so let me know how many are interested. Hi all, Hope everyone joined the game on saturday...i'm not enjoying the strained muscles but that will teach me for being so unfit. Court is booked again for next week 11am. Looks like we have the court until 12:30 so time enough for a variety of doubles and single games. (To all: i did try Waverley but they sounded pretty heavily booked...Camberwell Fusion sounds easier to find spots...plus only need to jump on a 176/185 or 40 bus)

Hello all, I think i may have found a solution. I had tried Dulwich Sports club, Jagsa and Alleyns without sucess but after checking with the Fusion place on Goose Green they said that there was another Fusion site in Camberwell Green that does it. I rang them up and they do Badminton Mon-Sat at a cost ?8.65/hour for the hire of the court with no charges for number of people using it. So if we got a doubles game going thats just over ?2 each for 1 hour. Sounds great to me! We can also hire racquets and shuttlecocks there if you don't have equipment. So in reponse to what Nick wrote above, how abouts let try this weekend? Reply to this and we can see what numbers we get... I think its only saturday though, they don't do it sunday. Rgards, Simon

lol...well i wouldn't say that... I'm an old pupil of Alleyns and through their sports club (the edward alleyn club) i thought they had access to the schools sports facilities..and they have a big hall for badminton which i remember personally from many a game there 15 years ago.. Anyway i have emailed them to find out the score and will let you all know the result. Simon

Hello all, I'm looking to get some fitness back and lose weight and i usually fail because i run out of motivation to keep going so thought why not try and hook up with some other people who want to do the same and maybe we can help each other keep going. So nothing serious or strenuous...no 5 mile runs or 40mile cycle rides..(i wouldn't be able to at the moment!!) I'm thinking more along the lines of a 1hr walk/intermittent jogging maybe around Dulwich park for example, or an odd 1hr cycle, like to play a bit of tennis and badminton or frisbee in the park. Just simple and easy stuff for now. It would be nice to get a little group going maybe but happy to do things with individuals also. I'm a 30yr easy going male who works in Lordship Lane and lives near Hornimans/Honor Oak and am free evenings/weekends. Happy to hear from guys and girls of any age. Regards, Simon
