Went into peckham pulse today and they said the swimming pools were due to be back to normal on the 9th august and it would be much easier to get swimming after then. I assume it?s the same for dulwich.

No. There?s a sign at Ruskin saying it won?t be open this year. I was at peckham Monday and it wasn?t open then.

So we still have no water in our bathroom - a small trickle out of the kitchen, but no showers for us today. I?m assuming it won?t be sorted by the morning.

Just been up to Straker?s Road. No water at the moment. Lorry due to arrive in about an hour

Hi everyone Myself and my partner are buying in the East Dulwich estate and were going through the Solicitors checks when we were told that the service charge for 2015/6 was over ?3000, when previously they were under ?1000. I was wondering if anyone could answer any of the following questions: 1. I did a search on the forums and a post mentioned someone called Steve who acts as a representative to the estate. Is this still the case (the thread was from a few years ago), if so, is anyone aware of how I can get into contact? 2. Does anyone have experience of Southwark service charges? How are they in springing surprises? 3. What are the planned works, I understand most has been completed (windows etc) - is it just general landscaping and improving? Thanks, we are moving from (renting in) Peckham so very excited about moving, but obviously dont want to get stung. Thanks Andy
