I have a number of excellent quality children's coats that I'm looking to donate to a Ukraine appeal (if they are useful /wanted). Does anyone know of a local collection for this sort of thing? Thank you.

Has anyone else seen a pheasant in the local area recently? Just spotted a beautiful one near Ruskin Park, and clearly heard one in Beckenham Place Park last weekend. I've never seen one in London before. Guessing they are easy prey to foxes so doubt it will last long.

I was wondering if others have noticed reduced numbers of garden birds this year? Am I mistaken in thinking there are usually various tits and finches at this time of the year? I usually have 10-15 on my feeder and at the moment I have none. Where have they gone?

Another good recommendation for Lee. He came out within 30 mins and gave me some good advice for fixing my three plumbing problems - the advice was free and we're trying out the cheap solutions before investigating further and incurring cost. I will use Lee if we can't fix the problems ourselves. Great experience.
