We had a powercut in Colyton Rd from around 7.45pm till 9pm last night. It certainly makes u realise how unprepared u can b!

My friends and I went there last night and had a great time. The staff are really friendly and the decor is very trendy and modern. I'm going back!

This is the response I got back from London Buses Thank you for your recent email regarding a request for a route to be introduced to cover Forest Hill Road - Honor Oak Park station. I fully understand why you would like the route you have mentioned and the possible benefits it would bring to yourself and fellow users. We continually monitor the bus network to see if any changes can be made to improve the level of service offered to passengers. The suggestions we receive from passengers are an important part of this process. Please be assured that we make every effort to connect local centres and residential areas - and to respond positively to requests for direct connections. But it is not always possible to provide a direct link for every journey or implement all of the suggestions we receive. Ultimately, we have to make sure that we use the resources available to provide services that will benefit the majority of passengers using a route. Currently we have no plans to extend any current routes in the area or introduce a new route in line with your suggestion. However, routes in the vicinity are due to be reviewed very soon, and your suggestions have been noted. Please be assured that where possible, we will always strive to improve the network. Thank you once again for taking the time to contact us and if I can be of any further help please feel free to get in touch. ......................

With the East London being extended to Honor Oak Park, I am sure that will attract people to use this station more, regardless if a small hopper bus service is added or not.

The 63 used to go from King Cross to Crystal Palace and then TFL decided to split the route so that the 63 started at Kings Cross and terminates by the Forest Hill Tavern and I believe the 363 is Elephant and Castle to Crystal Palace. I think perhaps a new smaller bus should be introduced, they have the P12 but that diverts off to Brenchley Gardens, which is no good if you live at the bottom end of Forest Hill Rd near Peckham Rye park. I have been on the website but I am sure this has been suggested in the past. Hopefully with the East London line extension, this might get more notice.

I agree that there needs to be a better service to Honor Oak Park station from East Dulwich. It takes me about 17 minutes to walk but on a windy, wet day a bus route would come in handy!

I thought when they opened the gym to the public that the pool was set to follow 2/3 years later????

Thank you Cassius for raising this question, I joined the forum yesterday and was going to ask the same thing about recommendations. I live in East Dulwich and my sister is a beauty therapist, whom works from home. She has a room that has been converted into a Salon. If I am understanding correctly, if I wish to recommend her to anyone, I should state that she is my sister in the recommendations postings, so that I am being fair to all and that I am allowed to do that.
