Another recommendation for Julian who cleared our gutters and cleaned our windows last week. Julian is friendly and efficient. He also communicates well and turns up on time. His quote was reasonable and clear. Would definitely use Julian again and recommend him.

Silvano Bozza recently taught my son to drive and pass his test. We chose him after reading glowing reviews on the East Dulwich forum and we were not disappointed. Silvano is a patient, meticulous and friendly driving instructor who really cares about his customers. Would thoroughly recommend Silvano to anyone seeking an excellent driving instructor.

Tony and Ash worked prepared our uneven cloakroom walls and floor for tiling and did a really good job. Friendly and reliable service.

I too would appreciate advice on kitchen companies and am also looking at frameless, shaker style cupboards. Has anyone had any recent experience with kitchen companies, good or bad please?

One of the houses in Court Lane backing onto the park, near the Court Lane gate entrance, was holding a charity garden event with a jazz band - perhaps that was what you heard. :)

I went to buy some meat at the butchers opposite the Plough this afternoon to find it closed and the shutters were down. Does anyone know if it's closed for good? I hope not.

I sold there once but haven't since. I have been put off by having to set up whilst surrounded by buyers rummaging through the boxes still in my boot! I found it impossible to keep an eye on my stuff and am sure that some of it went walk about in the confusion. I found the experience far too stressful to bother trying again. I asked the organisers at the time, and on this board, if the sellers could be let in slightly before the buyers but did not receive an answer; I think Echo is right - they are only interested in taking the cash. It's a shame because it could be a really useful local benefit.

I am on 3 and live near the library, reception has always been sporadic but has been almost non-existent over the past month or so, not sure why.

There was a poster outside the Post Office in Dulwich Village last week, it was asking for people to get in touch if they want to take part in the programme as they are making an episode featuring people who live in or around Dulwich.

I went to the Plough on Saturday night and had a great evening - loved the band.

I personally think the Blue Mountain Cafe is vastly over-rated; burnt food and greasy tableclothes has been my experience.
